Want to show your love? Try singing it! According to UsMagazine.com, that is exactly what Keith Urban did for his wife, Nicole Kidman, at his concert in Melbourne, Australia on Wednesday, June 25th. The country star made their eighth wedding anniversary special by performing his self-written 2006 song “Once in a Lifetime” for his love (and rest of the audience). “A couple of months before the wedding, we were in our hotel, and we were talking about the future, and Nic was getting very nervous about marrying me,” Urban told fans. “She was saying things like ‘It’s a long shot,’ but I knew she loved me and was just nervous. I did everything I could to remind her that I was going to be her man forever,” he continued before performing his sultry ballad. Urban didn’t stop there — he went on to sing “Making Memories of Us.” “This is a song a lot of people have at their wedding,” Urban said. “We had it at ours. I sung it. I was too cheap to get anybody else, ” he joked. “Eight years, baby girl. This song is for you.” He then expressed his adoration to his wife, who was sitting in the VIP box. “I love you so much.”

With all her professional successes and a gorgeous family, Nicole Kidman is grateful for what she has. However, her life has not always been grand. In a recent interview with DuJour, Kidman speaks of the highs and lows in her life, including her painful divorce from former husband Tom Cruise. When discussing her love for Cruise, the star of upcoming movie Grace of Monaco said, “I was reeling with Tom. I would have gone to the ends of the earth for him.” At 23 years-old, she had married Cruise in 1990. Just a few months after their 10th wedding anniversary, Cruise delivered a major blow to her when he decided to separate. “It took me a very long time to heal. It was a shock to my system,” the mother of four confessed. Over time, Kidman, 45, healed from her divorce and eventually found love again in current husband Keith Urban. “I’m happier than I’ve ever been in my life… My family is with me.”

The latest installment of American Idol may feature glimpses of Nicole Kidman, as she plans to visit her rocker husband Keith Urban on set, according to UsMagazine.com. The actress told E! News’ Ryan Seacrest that she’ll be cheering on her man off stage. Urban will be one of three new judges with singer Mariah Carey and rapper Nicki Minaj. Though Kidman will be away playing Grace Kelly in the upcoming film Grace of Monaco, she and Urban have been an inseparable couple since 2005. The movie starlet will be back in 2013 to support her spouse backstage.

As Tom Cruise’s third marriage comes to an end, Katie Holmes surprisingly reached out to ex-wife number two, Nicole Kidman, for advice and guidance in her effort to divorce Cruise, sources told Us Weekly. It’s not extremely common to become friends with your partner’s ex, but in Holmes’s case, the 45-year-old Kidman, “has been supportive, saying she’s been through it too and to hang in there.” The Dawson’s Creek star apparently even contacted Kidman via a disposable cell phone in order to keep Cruise from catching on. The ladies’ relationship is what really gave Holmes the edge she needed against her ex-husband, because she ultimately gained everything she hoped for in their rapid one-week settlement.

Actress Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban welcomed the arrival of their surrogate daughter, Faith Margaret, on December 28th. Their newborn is the second daughter to join the family, along with two-year-old Sunday Rose. The couple kept the surrogate process secret from reporters until recently, when they issued statements to UsMagazine.com. “Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret,” said Kidman. “No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier.”
