Yeah, yeah, yeah, it looks like an action movie, but you and your youth know that any story about Snow White must be centered on romance. The film actually focuses on a love triangle between Snow White, the Huntsman and Snow White’s childhood love, Prince William. The evil queen orders The Huntsman to kill Snow White, but he takes pity on her and decides to help her defeat the queen. But who will Snow White choose? The Huntsman or the safety of the prince? Starring Twilight’s Kristen Stewart as Snow White, this is likely to be one of the highlights of the summer:
This comedy features an all-star cast including Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Matthew Morrison, Elizabeth Banks, Dennis Quaid, Chris Rock and Anna Kendrick. The plot follows five couples, all expecting children, who must overcome the issues that couples all face when expecting a child. The trailer is quick on the laughs and the heart making for what could be a fun summer comedy stuck in between all the big action blockbusters. With a cast of respectable actors like this all signing on to do the same film, the script has to be good.
While The Avengers certainly doesn’t cater too much to the romance crowd, it does feature a cast of burly and charismatic superheroes that will have people swooning over them for months to come. Whether you want to be them or be with them there is no question that this cast is pretty incredible. But which Avenger is the best contender for a candlelit dinner?
Jason Segel and Emily Blunt star in this romantic comedy about a couple who keep having to put off their engagement for reason after reason. Coming from the director of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, one of the funniest movies of the last decade, this movie seems to have a lot of laughs just in the trailer. Much of the film’s appeal comes from the two leads, who both have great chemistry no matter who they are playing off of. The two of them together can only mean good things.
From Nicholas Sparks, the author who wrote The Notebook and Dear John, comes this romantic tale starring heartthrob Zac Efron. The High School Musical star plays Logan, an Iraq war veteran who claims to have survived for one reason, a picture he found a girl he does not know. After the war, he goes to find his savior. It turns out her name is Beth, and Logan ends up working at her family’s kennel. Romance develops between the two and could lead to true love. The Lucky One looks to be a perfect spring romance film.
The gang is back! After almost a decade of absence Jim, Kevin, Oz, Finch, and of course Stifler are finally heading back to the big screen. On the surface these films may not seem much like a romance, but the true heart of the series is in the relationships that help these characters grow. In 2003’s American Wedding, Jim tied the knot with Michelle, proving that this series is all about romance. Now, in American Reunion, the entire cast of the 1999 original is back for their high school reunion. Old flames reunite and long term relationships are tested. But all in all, this film is going to be a lot of fun and a great slice of nostalgia for everyone who grew up with these classic characters.
2012’s first big movie is right around the corner. The Hunger Games not only features a strong female heroine, it also features a complex love triangle. The upcoming action film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Hutcherson as the love struck teenagers who may be forced to take each others’ life. Katniss and Peeta (Lawrence and Hutcherson respectively) are both selected for the Hunger Games, a reality TV sensation in a dystopian future where teenagers fight to the death. But the two of them suffer a connection as they are supposed to play up their relationship to get more viewers. However, Katniss also has Gale (Hemsworth), a hunting partner that she has suppressed feelings for. Who will Katniss choose? Will she have to kill Peeta?
This one comes from the director of the hit comedy Role Models, which is already a good sign.  The film stars two great comedic actors, Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston, as a married couple who find themselves victims of the economy when Rudd’s character gets fired from his job.  Forced to leave there pricey sanctuary in Manhattan, the couple ends up joining a commune of sorts and begin living among them. Naturally, comedy ensues.  The trailer has some pretty hysterical moments.  Also, it should be noted that the movie is rated R, which is usually a good sign for comedies like this.
With Valentine’s Day coming up, this movie is sure to be a hit. Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum star was Paige and Leo, a happily married couple whose lives could change forever after a fateful car accident leaves Paige without the memories of their entire relationship. To make matters worse, Paige believes she is still engaged to her ex, who likes the idea of having her back. Leo must make her fall in love with him all over again.
The big day for romance is coming up, which means it’s time to figure out where you might spend the holiday.  Here are ten locations from great movies that if you can afford to visit, and if they are real, they would be a perfect spot to spend Valentine’s Day with your significant other.

How do you know when it’s time to say “yes” to a marriage proposal?
Adam Sandler is at it again!  The comedic genius and actor has come out with a Thanksgiving family fun movie, Jack and Jill.  Sandler follows in the footsteps of Eddie Murphy by playing both the parts of Jack Sadelstein and his identical twin sister, Jill.  Jack dreads when his needy sister, Jill, visits his family every Thanksgiving, because she always seems to ruin everything.  Jack’s wife (Katie Holmes) and kids, must deal with the sibling bickering.  If Sandler can pull off Eddie Murphy’s The Nutty Professor routine, Jack and Jill will have you laughing from start to finish.
Get prepared for a guilty pleasure flick!  In the 2011 remake of the 1984 film, Footloose brings back city kid Ren MacCormack (Kenny Wormald) who moves from Boston to a small town where dancing has been banned after a tragic accident. MacCormack isn’t as readily willing to give up dancing as the rest of the town, and he sets out on a mission to bring it back. When he unexpectedly becomes attracted to the preacher’s daughter, Ariel (Julianne Hough), it causes drama as the preacher is the main culprit in the ban against dancing and rock ‘n roll. Although remakes are rarely better than originals, there’s no doubt that the quality dance moves in this flick will leave you with a great feeling.
