Brad Womack is no rookie when it comes to proposing. This season’s eligible bachelor has, according to ex-girlfriend Laurel Kagay in an UsMagazine.comarticle, proposed to her countless times. Kagay said the most recent proposal was just weeks before he left to film this season’s show. “Even when we weren’t together, he would say how much he loved me and was going to marry me,” she said. While filming, Kagay said Womack would send her emails. “I’m sure the girl he picked would want to know that he was proposing to another woman right before he started taping the show,” she said. “I would want to know.”

The vacation destination theme continued on week six of ABC’s The Bachelor as Brad Womack and the remaining eight bachelorettes took another trip – this time, to Costa Rica. With the lush green landscape, a waterfall and a volcano view from The Springs Resort and Spa, what’s not to like about week six?
Simple: Michelle, who, despite all her complaining and minor physical assault on Brad, is still in the running to be his wife. But we’ll get to her later.

Although Gabriel Aubry and Kim Kardashian’s recent romance fizzled soon after it began, People reports that Halle Berry was not happy to see her ex out with a reality TV star. Aubry, 35, and Kardashian, 30, took in a Lakers game and a movie in late November before calling it quits. Halle Berry, 44, who split with the French Canadian model last year, was angry about the relationship because of her daughter, according to a source close to the actress. “Halle was very upset… She just didn’t want Nahla exposed to the cameras that are undoubtedly around a reality star.” But Aubry had no intention of bringing someone new into his daughter’s life right away. “Gabriel wanted to make sure he dated someone for six months before he introduced them to his daughter,” says the source.

As we mentioned earlier today, we got a chance to watch last night’s episode of ABC’s The Bachelor with Bachelor Pad winner and author of The Man Code, David L. Good. The event was at the Village Pourhouse in downtown New York City, and many ladies (and a few gents) came out to talk to David, take pictures, check out his book and watch the fifth episode with him. I have to admit, it was both cool and weird to watch the show with a former contestant – as you guys remember, David was on season 5 of The Bachelorette with Jillian Harris. People reports that when 26-year-old Medina auditioned for the judges in Milwaukee, he told the story of how he and the love of his life, Juliana, dated for six years and got engaged. Then two months before the wedding, everything changed when Juliana got in an accident that left her with a traumatic brain injury. “I was about to make vows just two months from the accident — through thick and thin, ’til death do us part, for better or worse,” he said. “What kind of guy would I be if I walked out when she needed me the most?”

There’s nothing like a trip to Sin City to amp up the drama on ABC’s The Bachelor! From the looks of the preview below, Michelle digs her claws even further (if possible) into Brad Womack, everyone is crying (what else is new) and – surprise, surprise – someone wants to go home. But this time, it’s Chantal! I wonder if she’ll stay, or if she’ll follow in Madison’s footsteps and leave Brad in the dust. After they were spotted sitting together courtside at a Knicks-Spurs game, rumors about actress Chloe Sevigny and Jersey Shore’s Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio were an item. When asked by Interview magazine about the possibility of dating Pauly D, the Big Love star called the idea “hilarious,” reports People. Sevigny added, “That would be the weirdest couple in the world. It would be like the apocalypse. We represent extremes, in opposite directions. So for us two to come together, it would be a very strange meeting of the minds or colliding of two worlds.”
After last week’s crazy-fest, who knows what tonight’s episode will bring – perhaps a possible walk-off? Someone’s life story is just as intense as the Bachelor movie that Brad Womack and crew are filming. In fact, it’s dramatic enough to “break everyone’s heart.” Tears are flowing (including streams from vamp girl) and someone will walk out. But will this bachelorette leave the mansion for good? Former Girl Next Door Bridget Marquardt has a new reality television show in the works. What’s her only concern? Can she and boyfriend Nicolas Carpenter keep their relationship intact? She told RadarOnline, “It’s kind of fun to be able to share it with my boyfriend, but at the same time I have concerns with that as well…they always say that all these reality show couples end up breaking up and [have] lots of problems and stuff so I’m definitely listening to that and taking that into consideration. Maybe a formatted show is a better way to go.” Bridget Marquardt is excited about the show and is also thrilled with her post-playboy life. She and Nicolas Carpenter, a director, hope to “…do some more horror movies together where I’m producing and he’s directing and his brother is actually a writer so we kind of have a team here!”
In spite of leaving her castmates at Jersey Shore before the end of the season for the second time, Angelina’s reality TV career is far from over. According to RadarOnline, just in time for Halloween, the Jersey girl appeared on IFC’s 5-part horror satire series, Dead Set. It seems that Angelina may be trading in her tan juice head guidos for a much paler partner. As part of IFC’s spoof, Angelina shocked the GTL off of her Jersey Shore cast mates by dating the undead. Anyone who thinks their last blind date was bad can’t top Angelina’s date with a zombie. Her disgust can be seen as she speaks in candid detail about why this zombie isn’t right for her. Perhaps, next time she will look for guys on the boardwalk instead of at the graveyard.

Unfortunately, according to RadarOnline, Kody Brown and his multiple wives have also caught the attention of the feds. Though bigamy is a third-degree felony in Utah, it’s rarely investigated. But due to all of the publicity surrounding the show, a full-out police investigation on the Browns is underway. In response to potential legal action, the Brown family issued the following statement: “We are disappointed in the announcement of an investigation, but when we decided to do this show, we knew there would be risks. But for the sake of our family, and most importantly, our kids, we felt it was a risk worth taking.”

People reports that Avril Lavigne and boyfriend Brody Jenner recently partied with Lavigne’s ex-husband, Deryck Whibley of Sum 41. Even with her ex nearby, the pop star and her reality-TV boyfriend couldn’t keep their hands off of each other at the Hollywood club. Reports say that Lavigne, 26, and Jenner, 27, were kissing and snuggling up to each other all night after Whibley, 30, spent some time chatting with them at their table. The PDA-friendly twosome have been together since the spring. Here’s hoping that the couple that parties together (with an ex), stays together!

Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe and her assistant Brad Goreski have decided to part ways, reports People. The amicable split between the two was brought on nearly a month ago when Goreski broke the news to Zoe. He tells People, “… there’s a point where either I do it now or I’ll never know what it’s like to spread my wings and soar.” With the duo being used as fodder for her show, The Rachel Zoe project, Zoe speaks kindly of Goreski, “I don’t want to hire somebody for the purpose of the show, we just got lucky. No one’s ever going to be Brad to me.”

According to People, sources say Chris Lambton and Ty Brown are among those who have been “in serious talks” with ABC about the next season of The Bachelor.
