Minaj announced the celebrity wedding via Instagram, stating “Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10•21•19.” The rapper revealed to EOnline.com in July that she and Petty had gotten their marriage license. Last week, Minaj announced the pastor she wanted to officiate was “available within the next week, so we could be married in the next seven days.” Though Minaj and Petty seem over the moon with their celebrity relationship, the couple has received backlash after it was revealed that Petty is a registered sex offender in New York and has served time in prison for manslaughter. It’s possible there’s a new celebrity couple in Hollywood, and Cupid is here with all the hot gossip on this celebrity news. According to UsMagazine.com, Nicki Minaj played it cool when speaking to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres on whether or not she and rapper Nas were dating or not. When pressed, Minaj admitted, “He’s so dope.” Upon further discussion it was revealed that while Minaj thought Nas was “kind of cute” and she admitted they had had some sleepovers, she also asserted, “I’m just chilling right now. I’m celibate. I wanted to go a year without dating men. I might make an exception to the rule for him ’cause he’s so dope.” The Hollywood relationship was first noted when Minaj shared an Instagram post of the two cuddling at a restaurant. A source claims, “They were laughing a lot. They looked very cute together. No PDA, but they looked like a couple.”

In latest celebrity news, singer celebs Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus had a public spat at the 2015 VMAs, hosted by Miley. During the live broadcast on Sunday, Nicki called Miley a “bitch” for talking about her in the press. According to an insider, “Nicki was livid with Miley and decided to air her feelings onstage.” In fact, it was reported that MTV staffers had to keep Nicki and Miley away from each other for the rest of the night to avoid a confrontation.

It’s hard to know if their fighting was staged to enhance the celebrity news or if it was authentic. Either way, it raises the question of whether shouting about your feelings in public when you’re upset is the best way to get your message across.

From Britney Spears to Nicki Minaj, this year’s MTV Video Music Award (VMA) nominees are teeming with A-list music stars.  The three top contenders include Katy Perry, with nine nods (the most of any performer this year), and Adele and Kanye West, both with seven nominations each.  While it will be exciting to see which stars take home a trophy for their designated categories, we’re also eager to see which of our favorite celebrity couples will attend.  Although we won’t know for sure who will show up to the VMAs until Sunday, Aug. 28, here are five celebrity couples we hope make an appearance:

1. Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z: Listed as the “most powerful couple” for TIME magazine’s “100 Most Influential People” in 2006, the duo dated for six years before secretly getting married in 2008.  OK Magazine reported that “the couple is very supportive of one another — making sure to attend performances and appearances together.”  That means we can definitely count on them to arrive together, since Beyoncé is up for a nomination, right?

Nicki Minaj is single and ready to date, according to The Hollywood Gossip.  Minaj is on the cover of the latest issue of King Magazine and opens up about what she’s looking for in a partner.  “Someone who is calm, who is strong enough to not have to win every argument, who allows a woman to be her crazy self and someone with a conscience not to feel less of a man.”  We suppose a calm man would be a good balance to the rapper’s wild style.
