Bourne Legacy star Rachel Weisz has never truly been open about her secretive year-long marriage with Daniel Craig…until now. UsMagazine.comreports that in the September issue of Marie Claire UK Weisz shares how their relationship evolved and what it’s like balancing motherhood, her career and Craig’s career. When asked if it was love at first sight, Weisz said, “It wasn’t really like that; we’d been friends for ages.” Without delving into too many details, Weisz felt more comfortable talking about her career rather than her love life. “You both understand you’ve got to be flexible,” she says. “Every few months you start a new job.” It sounds like this acting duo has found the perfect balancing act between overexposure and privacy.
What details of your marriage should you keep to yourself?
Rumor has it that Hangover star Zach Galifianakis got hitched last weekend, but is it true? After lots of digging, People reports that the funnyman married his long-time girlfriend Quinn Lundberg in a very under-wraps ceremony. When whispers of a secret wedding began, paparazzi posted at all of the Greek Orthodox churches in the Vancouver area trying to get a shot of the ceremony, but all failed to capture it. A local gossip site in Vancouver, Vancitybuzz.com, said that “the couple pulled a three-card Monte and kept us guessing on where the event would actually take place.” With no paparazzi in sight, the couple tied the knot in an outdoorsy and private ceremony at UBC Farm which is a farm linked to the University of British Columbia. Galifianakis has referred to his now wife as “the coolest.”

It seems Dax Shepard has been very open about his relationship status with Kristen Bell on Twitter lately. According to Hollyscoop, the actor routinely refers to Bell as his “wife” whilst tweeting. When asked about his loving reference, however, he said, “No, we would be very hypocritical if we were secretly married after being so openly against it.” So, what’s the deal with Shepard’s wifey talk? “I’m allowed to say whatever words I want in life,” said Shepard. To drive the point home, Bell added, “He can call me bozo.”

Celebrity marriages comes and go–some much quicker than others. Of course, there are infamous short term marriages, such as Britney Spears and Jason Alexander, who were united in holy matrimony for a whole two days, Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman, who were husband and wife for six days or Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, who were committed for only 72 days. On the other hand, there’s a good handful of celebrity couples that have stayed true to their marriage vows since the day they said, “I do.” Undoubtedly these couples have gone through major ups and downs like all couples do, but their love for one another and their marriage has conquered everything. Here are some Hollywood marriages to take note of:
Prince William and Kate Middleton. Photo: Landmark / PR Photos
Although they may have had one of the most publicized weddings in history, Prince William was still embarrassed to appear with Kate Middleton on the Kiss Cam at the London Olympics’ Velodrome. Although the two have been major supporters of the 2012 Olympic Games, and William and Prince Harry are two of the Olympic ambassadors, People reports that William said, “I was absolutely dreading they were going to come and show myself and my wife.” Still, with the Games in full swing, there was a lot more to pay attention to, and William seems to have escaped the camera’s focus.

After costarring in the Black Swan, winning big at the Oscars and having a baby boy together, Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied have finally gotten married. UsMagazine.com confirms that the couple exchanged vows in a Jewish ceremony at a private home near Big Sur, Calif. They were married in the dark beneath a chuppah, a canopy placed over Jewish marriage ceremonies. Jeweler Jamie Wolf designed their wedding rings, which were made from recycled platinum and conflict-free diamonds. Though the couple keeps their personal life under wraps for the most part, Portman gave us a little insight into their relationship during her acceptance speech at the 2011 Oscars, calling Millepied “[her] beautiful love.”

You’re in this romantic, ahhhhh, breathless moment that I’m just trying to extend as long as possible.”

It was called “Who Would Have Known,” and will be appearing on his next album. How did he know Walsh was the one? “When I realized I could be 100 percent myself around her all of the time I knew I wanted to be with her for the rest of my life,” DeWyze says. According to People, the star told ABC News’s Amy Robach that she would give marriage another try, stating, “For me, the biggest dream is the fairy tale. I will never give up on that dream.” Lopez’s divorce from Marc Anthony last summer doesn’t seem to be keeping her from finding a new man, as she clearly has something going on with her backup dancer, Casper Smart. Lopez would not open up about her love life, but Smart says it was not love at first sight. “It was very natural how it happened,” he says. “There was nothing before. No flirting, nothing before. Just natural. It just happened.”
How do you decide whether to get married again after a divorce?
It often seems like our culture thrives on talentless women who keep us entertained through guilty pleasure reality television shows. If the media would stop flooding its audience with Lindsay Lohan’s latest relapse, we’d see celebrity gals with brains and million dollar net worth who give women back the reputation we deserve. Below are a handful of leading ladies who chose to make the most of their fame by creating successful empires–with the help of their supportive and loving husbands:

30 Rocks lead funnyman Alec Baldwin married his love Hilaria Thomas this Saturday after a brief three month engagement. The 28-year-old yoga instructor wed Baldwin, who is 26 years her senior, in New York City. But age is just a number for these two, and Thomas will happily take Baldwin’s name. A source tells People, “[They] were married at St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in New York City with family and friends sharing in the joy of the occasion,” one of those friends being Baldwin’s costar Tina Fey. The newlyweds had been dating for nearly a year before the big ‘I do’s’ and Baldwin has said that Thomas is “very important” to him.
How do you decide whether to take your husband’s name after marriage?
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, (formerly known as Kate Middleton) and her brother-in-law Prince Harry were recently caught by photographers exchanging “flirty” glances. The pictures were taken during the Diamond Jubilee celebrations in honor of Queen Elizabeth II. Standing with the royal family on that famous balcony, Kate and Harry swapped what appeared to be secretive smiles and a knowing laugh while William had his head turned. Only the media would peg this as possibly inappropriate flirting instead of the more likely scenario that Kate and Harry were just having a good time, as a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law often do. But it does raise a question that many people ask: when is it actually flirting? And to take that a step further, when does flirting cross the line?
Bobby Brown and Alicia Etheredge. Photo: PRN / PRPhotos.com
Bobby Brown and Alicia Etheridge celebrated their nuptials on June 18 in Hawaii and surrounded by friends and family, including Brown’s three eldest children. However, Brown’s only child with the late Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina, did not show up. Bobbi Kristina’s refusal to attend the wedding made the occasion a little less joyous. “Bobby Brown was desperate for her to go to his recent wedding, but she would not return his calls,” a source tells UsMagazine.com. Brown’s troubled relationship with Houston that ended in their 2007 divorce made for a rocky relationship between him and his daughter, and his marriage to Etheridge has not helped matters. “She told them she was not going because she did not like Alicia, and that she was [busy] filming her reality show with [aunt] Pat Houston in New York,” an insider shares. Hopefully their relationship will have a happy ending, just as Brown’s love life did.
How do you involve your children in a second marriage?

On Monday, R&B star Bobby Brown tied the knot to manager Alicia Etheridge while visiting Hawaii to perform a New Edition concert. The recent groom originally popped the question to the new Mrs. Bobby Brown in 2010 during a sold-out concert, just three years after his divorce from the late Whitney Houston. He later opened up to People, saying “I got my passion back for music and for loving myself because of her.” Family and friends were in attendance to support the couple, but Brown’s daughter with Houston, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was absent because of her poor relationship with her father. Unfortunately, the newlyweds will not be spending their honeymoon in Hawaii due to forthcoming tour dates, but will at least continue traveling side-by-side.
