Fans recognize Jesse Kovacs from season five of The Bachelorette, where he fought for Jillian Harris’s heart, and season one of Bachelor Pad, where he caused drama with ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Kitt. Now, he is standing at another rose ceremony, waiting to see if he will get a rose on Bachelor in Paradise tonight. “It’s funny because, during this rose ceremony, I was sick as hell. I don’t think they show it, but I was off in the jungle puking my brains out,” Kovacs tells us in our celebrity interview. “So I wasn’t even concerned about getting a rose.”

Jesse Kovacs Talks About Return to Reality TV for Bachelor in Paradise

Arriving in Tulum, Mexico this week, his first date was with Jackie Parr (Sean Lowe’s season). He knew nothing about the format of the show; he did, however, know that it was worth it if finding relationship and love was a possibility. “It’s all about the experience for me,” he shares. “If you’re open-minded, you can meet someone anywhere. It doesn’t matter if it’s on reality TV or if you’re in the coffee shop, at a bar, or at the post office.”

What wasn’t aired is that Robert Graham pulled him aside and gave him a brief rundown of the situation. “I did know that Marquel and Jackie went on a date but still felt confident that she would want to go on a date,” he confirms. He also says that everyone was super nice and inclusive. “Graham Bunn and I pretty much hung out the entire time,” he adds.

When the winemaker first got to the island, he had three or four days of date after date after date and then a rose ceremony, leaving him with little free time to get to know any of the guys except for his roommates. “I’m talking with the guys in my hut as if I were talking to any of my buddies about a girl I was seeing, totally not realizing that there were microphones in the ceiling,” he reveals. “Certain things were relayed back to the girls — and of course, guy talk isn’t always meant to be shared.”

Teasing his storyline further, he admits that something happens that leads to tension between him and one of the guys. Plus, he gets mixed up in a big misunderstanding that causes him to head home early. “That will all come out later,” he assures us. He says that he looked like the bad guy, although he was telling the truth about what happened.

Despite everything, Kovacs doesn’t have any regrets and speaks highly of his experience. “It is what it is. Realistically, I should’ve known better.” Given he walked into a similar storm between AshLee and Clare, we had to get his opinion on the situation with the ladies. “I definitely feel like AshLee is always concerned about how she will be portrayed,” the reality TV star says. “Her edit or cut was the most important thing to her. I noticed this right away.”

His Recent Relationship and Love Life

He may not have found a relationship and love on Bachelor in Paradise, but we do know is that he had a serious girlfriend since viewers last saw him on Bachelor Pad. “She was in San Diego, and I was living in Los Angeles. We spent every weekend together — we’d go to the beach, and I’d bring a bottle of wine,” he candidly shares. “We moved in together, started a business, and then split up seven months ago.”

Outside of the show, Kovacs tells us that he isn’t looking to settle down again anytime soon. Instead, he’s staying busy with his entrepreneurial endeavors. He recently opened a lounge called Liquid in downtown San Diego, and he’s still managing Kovacs Brothers Wine with his brother. “We have some wine that we’re probably going to release in early September, and then we’re going to be harvesting again,” he says of what’s next.

Bartlett, Illinois native Chris Bukowski was the fourth runner-up on Emily Maynard’s season of The Bachelorette and was seen as a main competitor on season 3 of the Bachelor Pad. Since his initial reality TV appearance, he has molded himself into quite the entrepreneur as the owner of The Bracket Room, a sports bar and lounge in Arlington, Virginia. Earlier this summer though, Bukowski put his business on the back burner and returned to the small screen with the hope of finding a celebrity romance on Bachelor in Paradise (fourth time’s a charm, right?).

Desiree Hartstock of the Bachelorette is celebrating her wedding, the date still undecided, with a bridal shower. The star had her shower with a group of her girlfriends, which included other former Bachelor contestants such as Ali Fedotowsky, Daniella McBride, and Jackie Parr. Hartstock’s shower was at the Lombardi House and was posted all over social media in photos and tweets such as “BEST bridal shower anyone could ask for!!” According to People the couple now lives in Seattle had an engagement party back in February.

We’ve seen them fight for love, fall in love, and lose love. But the game has changed again! A number of beloved alumni from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette shows returning to reality television to give finding The One another shot. ABC is launching a new series called Bachelor in Paradise and sending a group of former contestants to Tulum, Mexico, to see if the romantic sparks fly as old flames are reunited and new couples are introduced.

On Monday, August 4th, the show will premiere with 14 previous Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants. On the first episode, two of the women will fail to receive roses and be sent packing; the following week, the men will face the same elimination. This pattern of goodbyes will continue throughout the show. Of course, there’s a twist: In addition to two people heading home each week, two more alum will join the cast.

Fan favorites, including Chris Bukowski, AshLee Frazier, Jesse Kovacs, and Michelle Money, will be heading to paradise. Additionally, three of the current Bachelorette Andi Dorfman’s cast-off are returning to the small screen: Marcus Grodd, Dylan Petit, and Cody Sattler. Not only is the cast attractive, but there is bound to be fun, flirting, and tons of drama!

A new reality show is taking the saying “love is blind” to an entirely new level. As revealed by UsMagazine.com, Bachelor alum Jamie Otis recently married a complete stranger on Married at First Sight. The show includes a line of experts — a sexologist, a spiritualist, a psychologist, and a sociologist — who pair participants with their “ideal” romantic partners. To add to the mystery, the contestants are completely unaware of who their future spouses are until they are introduced at the altar. On Tuesday’s premiere episode, Otis was set to marry software salesman Doug Hehner. Before the nuptials, she was all for finding her soul mate from the experiment — that is, until the moment of truth arrived. “She was freaking out. And it seems like she doesn’t know what’s going on,” the 31-year-old groom said “It was a tense moment.” In the meantime, there were a number of thoughts going through the 27-year-old’s head. “I’m getting married right now to someone I don’t know,” she said in her voice over. “I’m thinking I just made the ‘worst decision of my life’. I am so scared.” Viewers will have to watch next week to see how the rest of their “blind wedding” turned out!

A newborn baby girl has brought DeAnna Pappas Stagliano and husband Stephen Stagliano closer than ever. The couple, married in 2011, told People about their love as parents: “I didn’t know that you could love like this. Obviously I love DeAnna to pieces and we have a wonderful marriage, but the love that a parent has, it’s just different,” said Stagliano. The now 5-month-old baby Addison Marie Stagliano has brought a happy and completely new experience to the couple. “Nothing can really prepare you for what it’s like to have a child and how your life will change, but I will say we’re really good sat it,” said the new mother. “We’re a really good team.”

Everyone knows that with every episode of The Bachelor comes plenty of heartbreak and drama. However, one name has stood out during recent seasons: Courtney Robertson. Even though she was known as one of the most notorious villains of the franchise, Bachelor Ben Flajnik proposed to her at the end of season 16. Unfortunately, after the finale aired, the drama didn’t stop for Robertson. She and Flajnik split, and the celebrity dating rumors about the former contestant continued.

If it pertained to me finding a relationship and love and what led to me to go on the show, I put it in!”

After the roller coaster of drama, Robertson is now “happily single,” focusing on her book, which she sees as her “labor of love,” and her modeling career. Of course, The Bachelor will always be a part of her life. She remains friends with former contestants and is enjoying this season of The Bachelorette (she thinks Josh is “pretty cute!”). It looks like The Bachelor stars Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell may be hitting some hard times. It’s been just a few months sinceThe Bachelor finished shooting, and the controversial celebrity couple have turned to Jim and Elizabeth Carroll, WE tv’s Marriage Boot Camp counselors, for some relationship advice. According to UsMagazine.com, the Carrolls gave a brief synopsis of their talk with the famous couple, saying, “I think they have marriage on their minds, but I think what Juan did was a really — I mean, it wasn’t a very romantic fairytale ending — but I think what he did was very wise in the fact that he said, ‘You know, I want to go through conflicts with this girl. I want to do some problem solving. I want to see basically what the ugly side is before I jump out there and tell somebody I love them and just get married.'”

Playing it cool seems to be what Nikki Ferrell is doing. The Bachelor season 18 winner is not letting the outside opinions bother her relationship with Juan Pablo Galavis. According to UsMagazine.com, the 26-year-old’s ex, Ryan Dill, spoke of her unusual actions in a recent issue: “Knowing her like I do, I’m surprised Nikki acted like everything was fine during After the Final Rose.” Dill went onto refer to the post-finale show when Ferrell informed host Chris Harrison that Galavis has not professed his love, saying, “She normally wouldn’t take that s–t from a guy. Since Kris Jenner’s celebrity divorce from Bruce Jenner, there’s a celebrity dating rumor that she is now dating a former reality star of The Bachelor, Ben Flajnik. However, Flajnik spoke to People to get the record straight. “Kris is a very, very dear friend of mine,” said Flajnik, who lunched with Jenner at Barney’s in Beverly Hills on Friday. “We are not dating, we’re just working on a couple of projects together, so that’s why we’ve been seen out a lot as of late,” he said.

According to People, Ryan Anderson broke down in tears when he discussed how he was dealing with the death of his late girlfriend, Gia Allemand. The New Orleans Pelican forward was the one who found her in her apartment August 12 after she hanged herself. “Every day is a challenge. It helps to be here. My family’s with me. Reality TV star Tierra LiCausi’s mystery engagement has ended, People reports.  LiCausi, a villain from Season 17 of The Bachelor, flaunted a huge diamond ring on the Women Tell All reunion.  According to sources, the break-up happened a few months ago.  Unlike LiCausi, the most recent Bachelor, Sean Lowe, said to expect a celebrity wedding date announcement for him and fiancée Catherine Giudici.
