Actress Leighton Meester shared her latest celebrity news that isn’t too difficult to believe: she’s never experienced a celebrity break-up! The Gossip Girl star explains, “I’ve never been dumped I guess, but I’ve been hurt.” Hopefully the fear of experiencing a split has gone since tying the knot with her husband actor Adam Brody. According to E! Online , the two celebrated their celebrity wedding back in February 2014 and remain madly in love. Since then Meester has been focusing a lot of her attention on her friends and family. She shares, “My values have shifted greatly in terms of what I find important. It’s my family, my friends and having a personal life. Those are the things that need nurturing.”

According to UsMagazine.com, Adam Brody and Leighton Meester have been secretly dating for weeks! Brody, who used to play Seth Cohen on WB’s The O.C., costarred in The Oranges with Meester. A source told UsMagazine.com that the two were close and friendly while on set. The source went on to say that the pair have been hanging out quite a bit since then although they managed to stay out of the public eye. Apparently these love birds even went to Bangkok together. Meester, who is best known for portraying Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl previously dated Aaron Himelstein but the two broke up during the holidays.

In the new film The Oranges, Meester plays a 24-year old college student who is coming home for the first time in five years for Thanksgiving. Her family is thrown when her mother catches her sneaking off to be with none other than sexy Mr. Walling (House star Hugh Laurie) who happens to be Meester’s parents’ best friend! The two start a relationship that throws both families for a loop in this comedic drama. Leighton Meester has high hopes for true love.  According to People, the Gossip Girl star is looking for the kind of relationship that her character on the show, Blair, shares with onscreen love, Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick).  “Because the way they love each other is very real, and not for the sake of being dramatic,” says Meester.  Though 24 and single, the accomplished actress is far from giving up. “It’s okay if you don’t find him and you’re 24.  You can find it someday.”
