Drew Barrymore is already having a very happy new year. Barrymore’s rep confirmed to UsMagazine.com that Barrymore and her beau, Will Kopelman, 34, are now engaged. An art consultant, Kopelman popped the question in Sun Valley, Idaho, sometime during the holiday season, according to a source. The newly-engaged twosome, who was first spotted as a couple around February last year, briefly dated in 2010, but split up at the time, only to reunite later.

I thought, ‘Wow, she’s observant. She is flirting with me.’ So I said, “Look at those three dogs! Are they yours?” The cute blond said “No, I’m working at the rescue place today.”
The blond was wearing a sweatshirt, tennis shoes and a pair of jeans. She had no makeup on, and she had her hair pulled back. She looked really cute. The voice sounded really familiar. The face looked familiar. The only thing missing was E.T. What I realized then was that I was standing face-to-face flirting with Drew Barrymore.

It seems Drew Barrymore is happy in love these days. Peoplereported that Barrymore couldn’t stop gushing to Harper’s Bazaar about Justin Long, her on-again off-again boyfriend of three years. “He’s the cat’s pajamas,” said the Going the Distance star. Barrymore, 35, has endured a lot of the typical trials of a young actress in the spotlight. Spotted! At a red carpet event in celebration of her Nylon cover, E! News interviewed Drew Barrymore about her costar Justin Long. “He, by the way, is the most wonderful person to work with” the star gushes. Barrymore and Long have been in an on-again, off-again relationship for awhile, and although she refused to comment on their current status, the two have teamed up for the new movie, Going the Distance. While rocking a vintage dress, Barrymore added, “I’m so excited about this movie. As a girl, I relate to this movie and the boy in me loves the comedy in this movie. It is a very good date movie!”
