Former Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari has found her happy ending with boyfriend Jay Cutler, People reports.  Cavallari and the Chicago Bears quarterback, who have been dating since last fall, got engaged during a weekend getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. A source close to the couple says, “He surprised her with a quick trip to Cabo to ask her to marry him.”

Paris Hilton and boyfriend Cy Waits may soon be getting engaged, reports People. The couple were spotted shopping at Jacob & Co. jewelry store in New York City on Friday. “They shopped for engagement rings,” says a source. “They were really cute together. Paris was making comments about the rings and joking that her ring has to be at least 24 carats.” While the pair did not leave the store with an engagement ring, Hilton did “[walk] out sporting a $25,000 white gold and black diamond ring.” Hilton’s rep later revealed, “The couple were shopping in New York looking for something special for Paris’s 30th Birthday.”

Let’s do a fist pump for a Jersey Shore engagement! Angela Pivarnick is officially engaged, following her boyfriend David Kovac’s very public proposal on the red carpet outside of STYLE360 Sachika’s fashion show Wednesday. “She was completely surprised [and said], ‘Are you serious?’ She looked really happy and shocked,” an onlooker told People.

Â Minnillo, 30, and Lachey, 36, are savoring their engagement. According to People, the two were engaged in November and have been enjoying it ever since. “We’re enjoying being engaged,” Minnillo says. “Everyone rushes to the next step and I like this step. I’m in love and we’re happy, so when it comes and it happens organically I will welcome it with open arms.”

How much would you sacrifice if your partner got ill?  The millions of people watching American Idol Wednesday night had to consider that question after watching Chris Medina’s touching story. People reports that when 26-year-old Medina auditioned for the judges in Milwaukee, he told the story of how he and the love of his life, Juliana, dated for six years and got engaged. Then two months before the wedding, everything changed when Juliana got in an accident that left her with a traumatic brain injury.  “I was about to make vows just two months from the accident — through thick and thin, ’til death do us part, for better or worse,” he said. “What kind of guy would I be if I walked out when she needed me the most?”

Actress Kate Hudson’s pregnancy is igniting many rumors, most of which are absurdly untrue, reports UsMagazine.com. While on the England-based talk show The Graham Norton Show, Hudson effectively debunked several rumors.  She revealed that while she is pregnant with boyfriend Matt Bellamy’s child, she’s not engaged to him. When asked about the possibility of a marriage, she replied, “I don’t like putting that sort of pressure on it and I don’t feel it necessary to get married.” The actress went on to explain,  “I just want to be happy.”

Jennifer Love Hewitt is making it really easy for her boyfriend to propose by picking out three engagement rings for him to choose from. The 31-year-old actress has been dating Chicago actor and director Alex Beh for seven months, and things must be going well for the couple. Hewitt told Ellen Degeneres that she found the rings at Tiffany’s, according to People. “I feel like I’m doing the guy a favor. I don’t want to be upset if he picks a bad ring, so I feel like having three picked out and saying, ‘Look! It’s wedding bells for one of the most controversial couples in Hollywood: Jesse James and Kat Von D have announced their engagement. James and now ex-wife Sandra Bullock split in June after news of his multiple affairs surfaced. The motorcycle mogul, who began dating Kat Von D shortly after the divorce, professed his love for his fiancee to People. “You know sometimes the public and press gets it wrong. This is one of those times. 2010 was actually the best year of my life because I fell in love with my best friend. An amazing woman who stood behind me when the world turned their backs.”

Dancing With the Stars alum and former NBA star Rick Fox admits that he too may soon be joining the ranks of the newly engaged this winter season. Fox, 41, recently told UsMagazine.com that he and partner Eliza Dushku, 30, are thinking about getting married. “I hear [wedding bells] now,” explained Fox.  “We’ve been honest about that conversation, and we’ve had it.” However, the basketball star-turned-actor still has some reservations concerning marriage. “I’ve failed in marriage before, and this will be her first marriage….so we want to make sure the foundation is laid in a responsible way where communication is had about what she wants from life as a woman — whether she wants to have kids or go back to school — whatever she wants to do.”

This weekend, Kate Middleton got to know her future royal family a little better at the wedding of a close friend of her fiance, Prince William. People reports that Middleton and Prince William joined Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice and Middleton’s future in-laws at the wedding of Harry Aubrey-Fletcher to the Honorable Sarah Louise Stourton on Saturday. Kate Middleton, who turned 29 on Sunday, will get married to Prince William on April 29 at Westminster Abbey.

Reese Witherspoon will soon be walking down the aisle once again, this time with Hollywood agent Jim Toth. The actress, 34, and Toth, 40, began dating in January 2010. This will be Witherspoon’s second time down the aisle; her first marriage to actor Ryan Phillippe ended in 2008.  Witherspoon and Phillippe have two children together, Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7. An insider revealed that Witherspoon’s children have bonded with Toth and “…are happy with [Toth].”  The source assured UsMagazine.com, “[Reese] is definitely happy, in love and definitely wants to settle down.”

Â According to People, a source close to the couple says, “Yes, they were engaged over the holidays and are very happy.” Â On Monday, Rimes thanked all of her fans for their support by tweeting, “Thank you for all your well wishes!! Natalie Portman has more to celebrate than her Golden Globe nomination. The actress is engaged to choregrapher, Benjamin Millepied, and they are expecting their first child, according to People. The pair met during the production of the Darren Aronofsky’s ballet thriller Black Swan, where Millepied acted as a choreographer and one of Portman’s co-stars. The couple is excited for their first child who is due in 2011.

This may have been the last Christmas Kate Middleton spends with her own family, Us Weekly speculates. Â While Middleton was with her parents in Berkshire, England for the holidays, Prince William spent the holidays doing search and rescue work in a helicopter in North Wales. Â Once the couple weds next April, Middleton will most likely be spending Christmas 2011 at the royal Christmas Day celebration at Sandringham. Â Sources say that traditionally, her parents would not receive an invitation. Â But also according to sources, changes may be in store for royalty in England. Â “William is determined for this to be the beginning of a new royal family with new ways of doing things, he wants his marriage to last.”
