Looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger still feels guilty over the end of his 25 year marriage to ex Maria Shriver.  According to RadarOnline, the ex-governor is prepared to give his ex a hefty settlement in the divorce, much more than is required under California state law.  Both Schwarzenegger and Shriver’s lawyers seem to be getting along and are working together to come to a joint settlement.  Schwarzenegger said he is the one to blame for the collapse of his marriage, and he is willing to give Shriver whatever she needs.  He’s also filing for joint custody of the couple’s sons, which is a decision Shriver agrees with because she still wants her ex to remain a major part of their children’s lives.  It’s so sad to see the end of such a seemingly perfect marriage, but at least the pair are putting their differences aside to do what is best for their children and themselves.

July 4th is a day of extravagant celebration that’s incredibly hyped every year.  Not only is it America’s Independence Day, but it also marks the day that David and Victoria Beckham said “I do.” This year, the couple celebrated twelve years of marriage.  The soccer star told RadarOnline.com, “It’s a special day for us, it always has been and always will be.” The couple has all the more reason to be ecstatic, with a baby girl on the way.

It’s official!  Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnilo have agreed to have their wedding recorded live, according to UsMagazine.com.  However, Lachey admits that having cameras at their wedding wasn’t an easy decision.  “We kind of wrestled with that for a while, for obvious reasons,” he told reporters Saturday during his bachelor party at TAO in Las Vegas. “Having done reality TV in the past, I didn’t necessarily want to jump right back into it without having thought it through to great length, and we did.”  A reason the singer agreed to have cameras on his special day was because they weren’t going to stay there for long.  “It’s a one-off special; a chance to kind of have a great experience and a great moment in our lives documented on TV, and also for us, to have a great wedding video at the end of it,” he said of their TLC wedding special, which will be broadcast shortly after the couple swaps vows.

When it comes to competition, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are the folks to focus on right now.  Prince William and Kate Middleton went head to head in a dragon boat race across Dalvay Lake in Canada Monday, according to People.  The pair, who enjoy battling it out in tennis and other sports as well, showed off their competitive spirits at the Prince Edward Island boat race, in which they led teams of local athletes.

As we all know, Hugh Hefner has gone through another breakup.  His ex-fiancée, Crystral Harris, dumped Hugh days before their wedding.  Hugh had his reaction to the situation, causing everyone to laugh and then sympathize.  For a man who started an empire based on beautiful women, it’s hard to believe he still hasn’t found “the one.”  In honor of the Hef, here are three lessons we can learn from the now-ended relationship:

Don’t Give Up Everything Unless It’s Worth It

Crystal Harris came into the light after the reign of Hef’s ex-girlfriends Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wikinson, the original Girls Next Door.  This also comes after Holly and Hugh’s relationship (a whole other drama-filled story, which we won’t get into).  Originally, Crystal wasn’t alone, as she filled the role of the head girl, paired with twin sisters.  Eventually, Hef gave up the twins to focus all of his attention on Crystal.  While giving up extra girlfriends isn’t exactly what I’d call noble, Hugh was willing to give up a part of his lifestyle to please the one he loved.  Everyone has done this at some point in their lives.  We’ve given up something we’re used to in order to appease another.

Surprise, surprise!  It turns out that Salma Hayek’s husband François-Henri Pinault is the father of Linda Evangelista’s son Augustin James.  The allegation, filed by Evangelista, has been confirmed and, according to a People insider, “All that’s left is for a magistrate to go over the father’s filings and make a determination of support, which will last until the child is 21.”  The court papers were filed in New York, where the law demands that 17 percent of a father’s earnings go toward  child support.  The businessman’s salary in 2010 was $5.4 million, so it doesn’t take a math wiz to figure out that it’s a generous amount of kaching.

It looks like Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer has patched things up with her ex-boyfriend Robbie Kidd just days after finalizing her divorce from Corey Simms in mid-June, according to UsMagazine.com. According to UsMagazine.com, Transformers costars Meghan Fox and Shia LaBeouf hooked up on the set of the first and second Transformers movies.  Though  a source clarified that Fox was not with her present husband at the time, when LaBeouf was asked if Fox and her husband were together at the time, he stuttered and said, “I don’t know” 12 times.  Director Michael Bay allegedly put a damper on their fling when he fired Fox off of the set. “Believe me,” said Bay, “that was an unhappy set. The Emmy-winning actress, 27, and Williams were married Monday night in “an intimate setting amongst close friends and family,” her rep reports.  The couple first met when Williams cast Ferrera in his student film at the University of Southern California and the couple became engaged in 2010.  “We kind of connected from the get-go on that professional level and that was something that really drew us to each other,” Ferrera said. Shia LaBeouf’s young relationship is already starting to blossom. UsMagazine.com reports that the Transformers star is beginning to expand his horizons thanks to his five-month relationship with girlfriend Karolyn Pho.  “A cheese plate?  That’s a very 25-year-old deal,” LaBeouf said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times. “I can get down with some fig jelly and some cheese on a cracker…  [Karolyn’s] having me try different things.
