America fell in love with Tenley Molzahn and Kiptyn Locke when they each competed on The Bachelor (season 14) and The Bachelorette (Season 5). Their mission? To find a love of their own. However, it wasn’t meant to be at the time, and both ended up runner-ups on their respective seasons, forced to jump back into the dating pool.
Fast forward to last August as they took another chance at love on The Bachelor spin-off, Bachelor Pad, where 19 unforgettable contestants from past seasons lived together under one roof to compete for a grand prize of $250,000.
Despite losing the competition, Tenley and Kiptyn embraced their stint on the show and literally danced their way to the final four, finding themselves moving in a “Locke” step towards a true relationship – with each other.
Even before their appearance on Bachelor Pad, the two developed a solid friendship based on their tremendous respect for one another. They were there for each other during their days of public heartbreak, and that support set the stage for what ultimately came to be.
Cupid’s Pulse had the wonderful opportunity of exclusively interviewing Tenley and Kiptyn, and asked them a handful of questions based on their dating experience on and off the show. The key lessons they learned in their quest to find love are here for Cupid’s Pulse readers to embrace and take to heart:

Elizabeth Kitt and Jesse Kovacs are no strangers to finding love on reality television, as they both competed on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette series respectively – Elizabeth on season 14 with Jake Pavelka and Jesse on season 5 with Jillian Harris. The two seemed to find love as they cozied up with one another during last summer’s reality hit spin-off series Bachelor Pad, but like the majority of The Bachelor franchise unions, their relationship didn’t last after the cameras stopped rolling.
Oftentimes, lack of communication in a relationship can lead partners down two totally different paths: Kovacs wanted something more casual while Kitt wanted to fall in love. Nevertheless, the couple’s strong bond and competitive spirit led them into the final six, just a few steps away from winning the big pot of cash.
With another season of Bachelor Pad coming this summer, we asked Elizabeth and Jesse for their insight on dating, relationships and finding love on reality TV:
Before we get the pleasure of seeing next week’s final rose ceremony, we must first cross one last bridge: the infamous “Women Tell All” episode, where both the Bachelor in question and his dearly departed bachelorettes reflect (and awkwardly watch back) the ridiculous moments that made them famous.
While it’s no surprise that old beef between Raichel and Melissa continued to stew, the night’s big shocker was Michelle’s – dare we say it? redemption – which, of course, made for excellent television. So without further adieu, let’s dig right in to last night’s episode:

With The Bachelor final rose ceremony less than a week away, single women are placing their bets on who they think ABC’s two-time Bachelor, Brad Womack, will give that final rose to on March 14.
It’s down to this season’s two fan favorites: soft-spoken southern mother Emily Maynard and sassy, slaphappy divorcee Chantal O’Brien. Based on Womack’s infamous dumping of both DeAnna Papas and Jenni Croft in season 11, many fans wonder if he’ll leave his final two picks heartbroken as well.
While everyone has an opinion, nobody can be sure what will happen. Even Bachelor reality TV spoiler sites like Reality Steve have reported different endings before next week’s season finale. That’s why Cupid’s Pulse took this question to the experts: six rose-loving revelers from past seasons – David Good, Natalie Getz, Tenley Molzahn, Kiptyn Locke, Jesse Kovacs and Elizabeth Kitt.
After all, who better to ask than former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants who appeared not once, but twice (just like Womack) on the Bachelor franchise? Each of them competed last summer for a chance to win $250,000 on ABC’s Bachelor spin-off show, Bachelor Pad – which Chris Harrison officially announced will return this year for a second season during last night’s The Women Tell All episode.
The verdict: None of the former reality stars chose fan favorite Emily Maynard, who 83 percent* of Cupid’s Pulse readers picked as their favorite for Brad in this week’s poll.
Here’s who the former contestants chose and what they had to say about it:
The final rose ceremony is almost upon us, but we need a little dirt on what Brad is really like, straight from the horses’ mouths. Which is why next week will be the infamous Tell All episode, where Brad will have to face the women he rejected this season. So in honor of the two-hour reveal, let’s see what Ashley H. had to say in her ‘Diary of the Departed’ video below. Don’t forget to watch ABC’s The Bachelor with us on Monday, March 7 at 8 PM/7 PM Central Time to find out who comes back – and what they have to say about Mr. Womack himself. And be sure to visit us next week! We will be posting exclusive Bachelor coverage leading up to season 15’s finale!
After last week’s intense hometown dates, Brad Womack and the final three bachelorettes (Chantal O., Emily and Ashley H.) find themselves in South Africa, a first in the show’s history. The producers of ABC’s The Bachelor chose Sabi Sands, a gorgeous reserve, to set the perfect backdrop for this week’s episode. Let’s take a look back at what happened last night:
It’s week nine. Brad Womack and the remaining three bachelorettes (Chantal, Ashley H. and Emily) are in South Africa. But who gets the fantasy suite card? If it takes you more than one guess you clearly haven’t been watching this season very well, but take a look at the sneak peak clip below to find out (hint: Brad enjoys taking this woman on picnics!). It’s the best week during any season of ABC’s The Bachelor – hometown dates! This is when America (and Brad Womack, of course) finally see where the crazy (or normal) in the final four bachelorettes come from, helping Brad figure out who he wants to spend the rest of his life with: Chantal O., Ashley H. Shawntel N. or Emily. Let’s get started:
During week eight, Brad Womack must go on the most important dates of this season – in each of the remaining bachelorettes’ hometowns! Emily, Chantal, Ashley and Shawntel are the four women left standing, and Brad must see how his potential other halves live. While Brad’s meeting with Ricky, Emily’s daughter, is sure to be one of the night’s highlights, Shawntel asking Brad to lie down on the embalming table (which normally holds dead people) should be a fun watch. Will Brad be able to handle it? Don’t forget to watch ABC’s The Bachelor with us on Monday, Feb. 21 at 8 PM/7 PM Central Time to find out what happens. See you at next week’s recap!
On this week’s “most dramatic episode of ABC’s The Bachelor yet”, Brad Womack and the remaining six bachelorettes head to the beaches of Anguilla. As this is the week before hometown dates, when Brad gets to explore/invade four women’s home lives, he must make the ultimate decision – who does he see himself being with at the end of the day?
Brad Womack is no rookie when it comes to proposing. This season’s eligible bachelor has, according to ex-girlfriend Laurel Kagay in an UsMagazine.comarticle, proposed to her countless times. Kagay said the most recent proposal was just weeks before he left to film this season’s show. “Even when we weren’t together, he would say how much he loved me and was going to marry me,” she said. While filming, Kagay said Womack would send her emails. “I’m sure the girl he picked would want to know that he was proposing to another woman right before he started taping the show,” she said. “I would want to know.”
How do you know when your partner’s heart is in the right place?
White sand beaches, crystal blue water and skimpy bathing suits? This isn’t your ordinary vacation, as Brad Womack and a few bachelorettes do a photo shoot for Sports Illustrated in Anguilla. While Ashley H. has the ‘girl next door’ look going, Chantal can’t help but want to up the sexy ante, and even takes her top off. Don’t believe us? Look at Brad’s face at the end of the clip below. Don’t forget to watch ABC’s The Bachelorwith us next Monday, Feb. 14 at 8 PM/7 PM Central Time to find out what happens – especially if you have Valentine’s Day date night plans! See you next week!
The vacation destination theme continued on week six of ABC’s The Bachelor as Brad Womack and the remaining eight bachelorettes took another trip – this time, to Costa Rica. With the lush green landscape, a waterfall and a volcano view from The Springs Resort and Spa, what’s not to like about week six?
Simple: Michelle, who, despite all her complaining and minor physical assault on Brad, is still in the running to be his wife. But we’ll get to her later.
What involves horseback riding, rock climbing and zip-lining through lush green trees? Another Bachelor trip, of course – this time, to Costa Rica! With the beautiful scenery at his disposal, Brad can’t help that he’s falling for each of the eight women that are left to compete. But who can he see being his wife? Well, Michelle tells Brad (again) that she doesn’t see him with any of the other contestants: “Jackie needs to go home, Alli needs to go home – they all need to go home, I don’t know what to say.” Why don’t you tell us how you really feel? But it looks like Michelle digs herself into a hole when she confronts Brad about his feelings for Chantal, her in-house rival. Will Brad continue to keep the crazy or will he send her packing for good? Don’t forget to watch ABC’s The Bachelorwith us next Monday, Feb. 7 at 8 PM/7 PM Central Time to find out what happens!
As we mentioned earlier today, we got a chance to watch last night’s episode of ABC’s The Bachelor with Bachelor Pad winner and author of The Man Code, David L. Good. The event was at the Village Pourhouse in downtown New York City, and many ladies (and a few gents) came out to talk to David, take pictures, check out his book and watch the fifth episode with him. I have to admit, it was both cool and weird to watch the show with a former contestant – as you guys remember, David was on season 5 of The Bachelorette with Jillian Harris. Hearing David’s take definitely added a unique perspective. Read on for our recap of last night’s episode and his advice for season 15 contestant Brad Womack:
Bachelor Pad winner David L. Good has been in New York City since Thursday promoting his book, The Man Code: A Woman’s Guide to Cracking the Tough Guy. Monday night’s event took place at the Village Pourhouse, which included a book signing and a viewing of ABC’s The Bachelor with David himself! Cupid’s Pulse spoke with the former Bachelor contestant about his book tour, this season of The Bachelor, and of course, Brad Womack. In fact, David says that Brad is a ‘man code’ man, just like himself:
David also talked about his favorite bachelorettes of season 15: Continue reading →
There’s nothing like a trip to Sin City to amp up the drama on ABC’s The Bachelor! From the looks of the preview below, Michelle digs her claws even further (if possible) into Brad Womack, everyone is crying (what else is new) and – surprise, surprise – someone wants to go home. But this time, it’s Chantal! I wonder if she’ll stay, or if she’ll follow in Madison’s footsteps and leave Brad in the dust. Don’t forget to watch The Bachelor with us next Monday, Jan. 31 at 8 PM/7 PM Central Time to find out what happens, and follow us on Twitter: @cupidspulse. Word on the street is that Cupid has a little something up his sleeve for next week. Stay tuned!
This week’s episode of ABC’s The Bachelor began with Michelle and her mysterious black eye. “Who wakes up with a black eye?” she asked. An attention-hoarder, that’s who. And because of this, Michelle’s automatically entitled to a one-on-one date with Brad Womack, right?
Normally I try to come up with more original titles, but the one from ABC’s preview of tonight’s episode of The Bachelor is perfect. Michelle’s crazy eyes are all aglow and she’s got Brad Womack in her grasp, but the remaining 13 bachelorettes are banding together to show the bachelor her true colors. But who gave Michelle that black eye? A part of me thinks that Michelle did it to herself so she can continue playing the victim card. Guess we have to wait until tonight at 8 PM/7 PM Central Time to find out! Happy watching, and don’t forget to stop by tomorrow for our recap of the episode!
After last week’s crazy-fest, who knows what tonight’s episode will bring – perhaps a possible walk-off? Someone’s life story is just as intense as the Bachelor movie that Brad Womack and crew are filming. In fact, it’s dramatic enough to “break everyone’s heart.” Tears are flowing (including streams from vamp girl) and someone will walk out. But will this bachelorette leave the mansion for good? We can’t wait for tonight’s answer! Here’s to hoping it’s not one of our favorites. Don’t forget to watch The Bachelor tonight, Monday, 1/17 at 8 PM/7 PM Central Time, and stop by tomorrow for our recap of the episode! Happy watching!
Last night’s second episode of ABC’s The Bachelor brought all the makings of good reality TV: drama, tears and of course, a few make-out sessions. But what really stole the show was the on-going fight between Melissa and Raichel. But let’s get to that later.
This may be a reality TV show, but Brad Womack says that his quest to find love a second time around isn’t a game. The second week of ABC’s The Bachelor is filled with drama, tears – and a stolen kiss or two – as the remaining 20 bachelorette contestants duke it out in the race for Brad’s heart. Check out this preview below to see some crazy scenes, including a black spandex-wearing Madison (and those infamous fangs). Don’t forget to watch The Bachelor tonight, Monday, 1/10 at 8 PM/7 PM Central Time, and stop by tomorrow for our recap of the episode! Happy watching!
This season of ABC’s The Bachelor has officially begun, and after last night’s episode we can already tell it’s going to be a doozy. Brad Womack has spent the past three years soul searching, trying to get his life back on track after his infamous decision to say goodbye to both Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas.
“I hit rock bottom,” said Brad last night. “I was a broken man.”
Brad opened up about his experience in therapy, and found the root of his phobias of commitment – his father’s abandonment. And because of this, he said, “I don’t know if I’ve let someone know the real me.” Realizing that he’s been a closed off-person, Brad has learned that in order for him to truly fall in love is to be vulnerable. And he to wants to prove to America – and most importantly, himself – that he can be a better person.
Regardless of what America thought about Brad before tonight’s episode, it’s apparent that he’s back on The Bachelor for the right reasons. He sounded earnest whenever he spoke about trying to prove himself and teared up each time he mentioned his father. When he talked to Bachelor host Chris Harrison, Brad often tripped over his words, and seemed genuinely nervous to be back at the mansion again. Fidgety, playing with the back of his head, Brad looked visibly uncomfortable – and even more so when Jenni and DeAnna were brought out to meet him.
Your feet may be dragging at work today since it’s the Monday after your New Years celebrations, but who cares? ABC’s The Bachelor returns tonight with the man who has broken hearts before – Brad Womack. In tonight’s season 15 premiere, Brad will select a group of 20 women from a pool of 30 bachelorette contestants. He’ll even face DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft, the two women he rejected at the end of his first stint on the show. Whether you love Brad or hate his guts, you know you’ll have to watch! It airs Monday, 1/3 at 8 PM/7 PM Central Time. And remember to stop by tomorrow for our recap of the episode! Happy watching!
