New York City is full of date ideas, whether it be the brilliance that is Broadway or the scenes of Central Park. The city also offers delicious famous restaurants that will leave you with a smile on your face. A great piece of dating advice is to go on romantic dates with your loved one, and to try and change up where you go instead of getting into a rut and going to the same places over and over. Without further ado, Cupid recommends your next date night be at Dovetail NYC.

Dovetail is a great NYC restaurant for a romantic date with delicious food!

Located on 77th Street, Dovetail’s menu is full of culinary marvels that will certainly excite the tongue. The main chef is John Fraser, who opened the restaurant back in 2007. The beautiful interior of the restaurant only seats 82 people, so reservations are definitely a good idea!

Rustic artwork and white walls meet large wooden columns in a romantic setting, surrounded by perfect two-person tables that are just calling your name! With the pre-theatre menu, a quick über or taxi ride up to West 77th St. will certainly be worth the trip and will make your date night more amazing. That menu offers three courses for $58 and includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert.

For vegetarians, Monday should be date night as there is a special menu that is served for vegetarians! However, Dovetail offers vegetarian options every night.

The regular menu includes a tasting option for $120 and then a three or four course option, $85 and $95 respectively. While the prices are a little high, the food is definitely worth it! You will not go home disappointed! For those looking for a more affordable option, the Sunday Suppa will excite your tastebuds for the same price and has a relatively similar menu as the pre-theatre option. Get the tasting if you are into trying different things, and do not skip out on dessert. You won’t want to miss it!
