In the name of country music! Country is one of the most popular genres of music. For decades, it has been ruling the charts. One of the reasons that country music is so popular is because it is very relatable to everybody. Country songs are usually about family, friends, God, and of course – love. Whether it’s an upbeat country pop song about hanging out and having a cold beer after working hard, or a love ballad about a breakup – the country music genre has it covered. Country music celebrity couples tend to have long lasting marriages and relationships, and they typically have families – where they are very hands on and involved with family life. It’s incredibly refreshing, especially in this day and age. (Their celebrity weddings are always beautiful!) These celebrity relationships are here to stay. Johnny Cash and June Carter were the King and Queen of country music and married life. Country muscian Dave Haywood, 29, from the band Lady Antebellum has finally gotten hitched. The lucky lady? Kelli Cashiola. The couple has known each other for five years and dated seven years before getting engaged this past December.  How was the wedding? According to UsMagazine.com, a source said, “The whole thing was straight out of a movie.”  Hopefully their fairy tale wedding leads to a happy marriage.

Congrats to Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott and drummer Chris Tyrrell, who are officially married, as of Saturday.  The couple, who has been engaged since July, held a small ceremony in upstate New York in front of family and close friends, according to People.  “We got married,” Scott, 25, said as she flashed a wedding ring in a video on Lady Antebellum’s website with her new hubby.  “We just wanted you to hear it from us first.  We love you.  We’re so excited to be starting our life together and we just had to let you in on the exciting news.”  Scott said she couldn’t be happier and loves having someone in her life who completely accepts her.  “Everything is brighter.  Everything has a deeper meaning.  I’ve found a guy who truly embraces me for who I am and appreciates the things that I don’t necessarily love about myself.”

Dave Haywood, 29, gave his girlfriend, Kelli Cashiola, 29, the holiday gift every girl wants: an engagement ring!  A representative for Haywood confirmed to People that he proposed on Monday evening.  He did so first by picking up his finance and blind folding her as he drove her to their home, which was converted into a winter wonderland.  When the blindfold was removed “will you marry me” was spelled out in Christmas lights on the front of their house and Haywood slipped a ring onto Cashiola’s finger.  Cashiola, of course, said yes.  Haywood is the final Lady Antebellum band member to be engaged.  A date has not been set, but it is said to be after the spring wedding of band mate Hillary Scott.
