Not every woman is cut out for a big Kim Kardashian-style bash for her big day. Many would prefer a quick and discrete elopement, much like Tara Reid’s wedding. So, what’s a girl to do? And how do you decide what’s the right choice for you?
Let’s take a look at things objectively for a minute. If you have a large family (and, wow, Kim K. does), then you have to examine how many people you’re comfortable inviting to your celebration. If you have dreams of being a princess, a big traditional ceremony is just the thing for you.
Kim Kardashian’s ceremony was just about as close to a fairy tale wedding as you can get…without actually being a royal. Between the three costume changes, black and white color scheme, and nearly 400 guests, she wowed the guests with glitz and glam.

Although Kim Kardashian tied the knot with Kris Humphries earlier this month, she’s already thinking of babies, according to family friend Lisa Gastineau. “She wants babies. Let’s cross the fingers. And her mom wants her to have babies quick!” Gastineau told UsMagazine.comon Saturday in Hollywood. Gastineau believes Kardashian will be a great mom, and she’s confident that Humphries will be a great family man. “He adores [Kim]. I wish that every girl that I know had someone that adores her. Just the way that he looks at her. He’s so cool, he stands up to her. Kim is a little dynamo. It is amazing; it is a fun, fun relationship watching them!”

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries finally got hitched this weekend … and the Humphries family had quite a mixed reaction according to UsMagazine.com. According to one guest, “Everybody felt awkward, like it was all for the cameras and more like a TV show than a wedding.” Humphries’ parents must have felt the same, because they “mostly looked appalled by the entire thing,” although they “cheered when Kim and Kris were pronounced husband and wife.”

Now that their lavish wedding is over, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have decided to escape for a mini-honeymoon to Capri, Italy. It will be quick because the couple need to be back in order for Kim to present at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards Show. Hopefully, they will have time for some rest, romance and relaxation. They will be visiting different areas throughout their trip, a source told UsMagazine.com. When spotted at LAX airport on Monday, the pair were glowing with love for each other.

Kim Kardashian is officially married and off the market. The Armenian beauty tied the knot with Kris Humphries on Saturday at a beautiful estate in Montecito, California. 450 guests were in attendance. According to People, the two were married in a traditional Christian ceremony officiated by the Humphries family’s pastor, Joel Johnso. Kardashian paid tribute to her late father, attorney, Robert Kardashian, in a heartfelt message in the program, “I so wish my dad could be here today to walk me down the aisle, But I know in a way he is here, and I feel his loving presence all around me. I love and miss you, dad.”

Bride-to-be Kim Kardashian has been in the media a lot lately, due to her recent engagement to Kris Humphries. Well, she’s now being examined for what her wedding dress will look like. Kardashian revealed Monday that Vera Wang will be designing her wedding gown, according to UsMagazine.com. “Vera has been a close family friend for a long time and we had talked about this moment for years,” Kardashian, 30, wrote on her blog. “So when it came to picking my wedding dress designer, she was the first person I thought of. No one designs gowns the way she does!”

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom sealed the deal, and it’s almost time for Kim Kardashian and Khris Humphries to do the same. On Saturday, the engaged couple took one step closer to taking their wedding vows at their bridal shower, according to E! Online. With a classy touch of wine, party favors wrapped in small pink boxes, and an atmosphere of Kardashian fever, this bridal shower was everything, but a fail. While Kris Humphries was celebrating his bachelor party at Lavo Las Vegas last Saturday night, fiancé Kim Kardashian was doing her best to deal with her humiliation during her penis-themed bachelorette party, organized by her sister and maid-of-honor, Khloé. Kardashian and Humphries will walk down the aisle this Halloween.

It looks like Kim Kardashian, who recently got engaged to New Jersey Nets star Kris Humphries, has her sister Kourtney’s blessing. Kourtney Kardashian told People that Kim and Kris are perfect together. “He fits in [with the family] already. Kris Humphries proposed to Kim Kardashian in her Beverly Hills home on May 18th. After six months of dating, the New Jersey Nets forward waited in Kim Kardashian’s bedroom and took her by surprise when she came home to find him on one knee with the words “Will You Marry Me?” written in rose petals. She was completely surprised. “I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.” According to People, Kris Humphries popped the question with a classically stunning custom-designed, 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond sparkler because he wanted the ring to be big. Khloe Kardashian has some advice for sister Kim’s long-distance basketball boyfriend Kris Humprhries: impress the fam. Khloe, who married Los Angeles Laker star Lamar Odom in September of 2010 knows firsthand how critical her brood can be. “I don’t think Kris knows what he’s getting into,” Kardashain told People. She says that this summer Humphries will get the opportunity to spend some time with the whole family and get initiated into the Kardashian group … if he can manage.

Kim Kardashian is venturing into the world of music with a little help from her NBA player boyfriend. Kardashian, who debuted her new song “Jam (Turn It Up)” this week, told People that Kris Humphries serenades her with her own song. “Kris loves it… He sings it to me on the phone.” While Kardashian says she loved recording the song, she isn’t interested in making an album. “It was just something I tried,” the reality star said. “It was just something that kind of got me out of my comfort zone. And I’m really happy I went for it and did something I’m so not comfortable doing.”

Despite the sex appeal caused by Kim Kardashian’s enticing Super Bowl Sketchers commercial, her boyfriend Kris Humphries was not at all envious. According to Digital Spy, Kardashian says Humphries is “not a jealous person at all.” The commercial, which aired during the fourth quarter Sunday, showed Kardashian moving provocatively with a shirtless, male trainer.

Although Gabriel Aubry and Kim Kardashian’s recent romance fizzled soon after it began, People reports that Halle Berry was not happy to see her ex out with a reality TV star. Aubry, 35, and Kardashian, 30, took in a Lakers game and a movie in late November before calling it quits. Halle Berry, 44, who split with the French Canadian model last year, was angry about the relationship because of her daughter, according to a source close to the actress. “Halle was very upset… She just didn’t want Nahla exposed to the cameras that are undoubtedly around a reality star.” But Aubry had no intention of bringing someone new into his daughter’s life right away. “Gabriel wanted to make sure he dated someone for six months before he introduced them to his daughter,” says the source.

On the Sunday night premiere of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, viewers got an up-close and personal look at Kim Kardashian’s love life. The one-minute clip shown on UsMagazine.com shows a playful Kim showing singer Kanye West the new Dash boutique located in the SoHo neighborhood in New York City. Shortly after, West and Kim were caught having a giggly conversation about Las Vegas, and sister Kourtney explained. “Kim is single now, and she is the most boy crazy girl I’ve ever seen.
