Jersey Shore’s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who was recently rumored to be starting her own reality dating show, looks like she doesn’t need any help finding a man. Us Magazine reports that the reality TV star’s new boyfriend, Jionni LaValle, is a “refreshing change,” according to a source.  “Jionni is great.  He is so quiet and isn’t trying to be in the spotlight.”  But apparently Snooki was still nervous about her new beau and looked for approval from her girlfriends.  “She wasn’t sure about him at first and kept asking her friends what they thought of him,” says the source.  “She was hesitant because he isn’t the typical gorilla.”How important are the opinions of your friends when it comes to the person you’re dating?

Jersey Shore‘s Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is full of regrets for cheating on girlfriend, Sammi Giancola, during filming for season 2 of their hit reality show.  “When I saw myself in the club with those girls [it] was, ‘Wow, you’re the man right now at the club.  You look f—ing awesome,'” he told MTV.  “And then when I go home to Sam, I’m like, ‘Wow, I’m embarrassed.  I’m ashamed of myself.  I’m embarrassed about what I did to her.'”  Ronnie may be acknowledging that what he did was wrong now, but castmates Snooki and J-Woww originally let the news slip to Sammi about his indiscretions in a telling note.  It seems that Sammi has been able to at least partially get over Ronnie’s mistake, though, as she only has good things to say about him.  “I think he is actually really trying to show me the good instead of the bad,” she told MTV last month.  “That’s what I hold on to all the time.”

Reality TV star The Situation has officially laced up his dancing shoes for a stint on Dancing With the Stars this season, and the “lucky” professional dancer paired with him is Karina Smirnoff.  The question is, is there a hook-up coming?  According to E! Online, fellow cast members of the reality TV show Jersey Shore don’t support the idea of a celebrity hook-up between the dancing duo-for Smirnoff’s sake.  “She’s too good for him,” said Snooki.  “She’s smart. She won’t even go there.”  JWOWW agrees, adding  “Karina’s a woman. She needs to stay a woman.  She’s not a Jersey Shore girl.”  On the other hand, Vinny is a bit more supportive explaining, “If he gets that, I’ll give props to him.”

Jersey Shore cast member Snooki is in for a huge surprise. Radar Online reports that Snooki’s boyfriend, Iraq veteran Jeff Miranda, has decided to pop the question in a very public way.  A shirtless Miranda is featured on the cover of the Sept. 10 issue of Steppin’ Out magazine kneeling in army fatigues next to the words: “Will You Marry Me?”   In his interview with Steppin’ Out, Miranda talks about why he decided to propose to girlfriend Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.   “I want us to be together forever.  I could see us having children.  I want to pop the question to her.  If we got married we would be the best parents around.  She’s so loving and puts everyone else before her self.  She’ll be a great mother.”   When asked about the unique way he decided to propose, he admitted that Snooki is going to be shocked, but said, “I know she’ll say yes.”

As of Season 2 Episode 4 of Jersey Shore, nothing has changed between Ronnie and Sammi.  Ronnie continues to act single every night at the club only to go back home and get in bed with Sammi.  While fully aware of what Ronnie is doing, everyone else in the house remains afraid to tell Sammi the truth due to their friendship with Ronnie and their desire not to hurt Sammi.  Though Sammi suspects that something is up and even questions Angelina, no one brakes their silence until JWOWW suggests they write her an anonymous note.  Snooki and JWOWW then go over to an internet cafe to type up the letter detailing all of Ronnnie’s actions with other women so far this season.

And the drama continues!  After drunkenly carrying on with countless girls at a Miami nightclub in season two’s first episode, Jersey Shore reality star Ronnie returned home to cuddle up with ex-girlfriend, Sammi.  When Sammi asked if he had been with any girls that night, he lied, answering no.  The two seemed to rekindle their romance during last week’s episode when Sammi held Ronnie’s hand as he got a tattoo.

Got a fever for Jersey Shore cast?  You’re in luck – they’re single!  Snooki, Sammi Sweetheart and JWoww have broken up with their respective partners, E! Online reported last week.  Despite Snooki’s dumping her “Gorilla Juicehead” beau, Emilio Masella plans to win her back.  “I’ve been doing everything crazy to that you can think of to get MTV’s attention,” he told E!.  JWoww’s manager boyrfried, Tom Lippolis, won’t speak on their issues, but commented, “I’ve been better.”  Lastly, Jersey Shore’s favorite couple from season one, Ronnie Magro and Sammi, have been in an on-again, off-again relationship for a while.  They’re currently off-again.

MTV’s hit series Jersey Shore premiered its second season last Thursday, and it’s already seen its share of hookups.  The cast uses the term “creeping,” which basically means picking up girls with the intention of a late night hook-up – and nothing else.  In reference to his desire to leave New Jersey for the winter in favor of sunny Miami, Pauly D said, “You can’t creep in this weather.  You can’t do anything.  Girls don’t come out in this weather.  They stay in the house.”  Later in the episode, Vinny vowed that he would hook up with 60 different girls in 60 days, telling the camera that if he misses one day, he’ll simply double up on the next.  The newly single Ronnie took creeping to the next level, letting loose in a nightclub upon arriving in Miami.

The casual hookup is not for everyone. But if no one gets hurt, should people get it out of their system while they are still young?
