You may remember my recaps from season 17 of The Bachelor with Sean Lowe. Well, I’m back to analyze Desiree Hartsock and her suitors on season 9 of The Bachelorette. To get ready for last night’s premiere, I brushed up on my notes from last season and examined Desiree’s past non-verbal cues (her baseline) to help me determine what man will be the last one standing. Starting out as one of the 26 girls in The Bachelor, Desiree Hartsock was fan-favorited as the new Bachelorette. People reports on the After the Final Rose special, Hartsock stated, “Just can’t even believe I’m here. With the support of everyone, it’s just such a blessing.” Entertainment Weekly reports that Hartsock shocked many when she sported a no bangs look, especially the Women Tell All. Hartsock will continue to shock many with drama, love, and passion on this summer’s ninth edition of The Bachelorette.Â

We can’t help but wonder about the girls when watching this (and every) season of The Bachelor. Who is genuinely nice? And who is a wolf in sheep’s clothing? Who’s in it for love, and who just wants fame? Of course, the biggest question we ask ourselves is: who is Sean’s future wife?
So in the spirit of The Bachelor, I will give out fives roses to the girls whose body language and non-verbal cues–for better or worse–most captured my attention in last night’s episode.
