One of Hollywood’s most sought after actors, Sean Penn, is officially dating producer Shannon Costello, who has worked on high-profile projects such as Davis Guggenheim’s documentary Waiting for Superman and ABC’s 20/20.  Penn’s newest flame is also the former Communications Director of the actor’s J/P Haitian Relief Organization.  The couple met in the fall of 2009 and took their relationship public in early July of this year.  According to People, Costello was mistakenly identified at first by the media for Stacey Koplin.  In spite of this short-lived case of mistaken identity, both Penn and Costello were seen looking very much like a couple on the sandy beaches of Malibu, at Nobu and dining out in Miami.

As most of us know by now, the rumors about Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith splitting are false.  The happy pair set the record straight Tuesday according to People, claiming that the buzz in the tabloid’s about their 13 year marriage coming to an end are not true. The couple made a joint statement saying, ‘Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false.  We are still together, and our marriage is intact.’ While talk of the split was swirling around, the Smith’s were shopping at Michaels Crafts acting cutesy and giddy according to onlookers. Looks like there will soon be a third addition to the Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck clan.  According to People, Jennifer Garner is now pregnant with the couple’s third child.  The pair, who already has a 5 1/2-year-old daughter named Violet and a 2 1/2-year-old daughter named Seraphina, are “thrilled” to be expecting a third child.  Garner also told the Associated Press that she believes she’s gotten somewhat of a “split personality” from motherhood.  One minute her brain is mush and she is a total ditz with all the thoughts of motherhood, and then somehow she pulls it all together when the cameras start rolling.  Talk about mother of the year!

After much deliberation, Melissa Rycroft and hubby Tye Strickland made the big decision to move to California with their 6-month-old baby Ava, according to People.  Rycroft admitted, “Adding a baby to the equation makes my job much harder.  It involves travel and it was impossible to travel without her, but at the same time it was impossible to travel with her.”  Even though the new mother is stressed between working and raising her daughter, she says it’s all worth it for that ‘one little smile’ she gets from Ava after a huge temper tantrum.  Luckily, Strickland is a great father, according to Rycroft, and definitely takes his fair share of the parenting responsibilities.

The old adage “birds of a feather flock together” is coming true when it comes to NBC New’s Peter Alexander and ABC anchor Alison Starling. The two are thrilled about their recent engagement, according to People. There were no teleprompters or cameras needed when Alexander popped the question to his future fiancee under the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Talk about a story book moment! It’s the year of royal weddings.  First Prince William and Kate Middleton walked down the aisle, and now Prince William’s cousin Zara Phillips has tied the knot with Mike Tindall, the captain of England’s rugby team. The wedding took place in Edinburgh this past Saturday, according to People, and it was absolutely breathtaking.  The wedding was straight out of a story book with a royal guest list and a fabulous reception at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the Queen’s residence.  The pairmet through Prince Harry, who introduced the two at a bar in Sydney during the Rugby World Cup back in 2003.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are making the big move.  According to UsMagazine.com, the Horrible Bosses actress is looking for places to either rent or buy in the Beverly Hills area with new serious boyfriend, Justin Theroux. Sources close to the couple say that the relationship is going extremely well, and they hope to make it permanent.  As far as other recent big real estate purchases for the actress, Aniston just closed on an $8 Million Penthouse in New York’s West Village. It’s almost time again for the 2nd annual “Reality Reunion” on Catalina Island.  If you haven’t had your fill of drama and cat fighting during this year’s reality television season, there’s sure to be some juicy gossip at this summer’s over sized party where contestants from the Bachelor, Bachelorette, Survivor and The Amazing Race are all set to travel to Catalina Island.  There will be raffles, contests, partying and tons of fun.

A portion of the ticket proceeds will go to the “name a tent” fundraiser for the Catalina Experience- a non-profit organization whose mission is to create awareness of the local marine environment and of the critical habitat found on Catalina Island.  All remaining funds from the weekend will go to Stand Up 2 Cancer.

Ugly Betty star America Ferrera was the opposite of ugly during her recent wedding to longtime boyfriend, Ryan Piers Williams, according to People. The Emmy-winning actress, 27, and Williams were married Monday night in “an intimate setting amongst close friends and family,” her rep reports.  The couple first met when Williams cast Ferrera in his student film at the University of Southern California and the couple became engaged in 2010.  “We kind of connected from the get-go on that professional level and that was something that really drew us to each other,” Ferrera said. She also said that she and her beau have “a shared passion for what we do and our work.”

5 months after having baby Ava, Melissa Rycroft and hubby Tye Strickland still feel ‘weird’ having date nights without their little bundle of joy.
