Cupid’s Advice:
There’s nothing wrong with a little healthy competition in your relationship. Â Here’s why:
1. Fun: Having a little competition in a relationship, whether it’s with sports or even a board game, brings you both back to a time when things weren’t so seriously in your life. Â And guys, don’t let the girls win on purpose! Â It’s so much more fun to truly compete.
2. Keeps you on your toes: Competition can spice things up a bit. Â It adds some excitement to the boring routine of going on romantic dates and allows the two of you to interact in a new way.
3. Shows a different side: When people are participating in a game, sport or contest, they tend to act differently than when they are in a relaxed environment on a date. Â It’s nice to see a different side of the person you’re involved with, whether it’s true passion or simply getting into the spirit of competition.
