For today’s column, I want to look at three celebrity couples that tend to keep their relationship out of the spotlight but are faced with tabloid rumors nonetheless:

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake: This A-list pair recently celebrated a year of marriage — which means that this union has already lasted longer than many predicted. Every few months, there’s a story about Timberlake cheating with a hot blonde or mystery brunette; it’s a shame, but there may be something to it. When I look at their energy, the actress seems to be 100 percent into the marriage, while her husband isn’t as present. That’s not to say he doesn’t love his wife; it’s just to note that there is a piece of himself that isn’t completely committed to their relationship. His energy appears to be up and down, which could be trouble in the long run.

Django Unchained starlet, Kerry Washington wed San Francisco 49ers player, Nnamdi Asomugha in a secret ceremony last month. A source dished to People, “Everything was held at one of Kerry’s friend’s houses. They flew a few people out on this little private plane.” The ceremony was very simple and small, with only family and close friends in attendance. Washington also chose a minimalistic chic plain white dress.

Kerry Washington and Nnamdi Asomugha tied the knot in a very private ceremony on June 24 in Hailey, Idaho. According to People, the witnesses at the wedding were listed as Washington’s parents. Though the couple began dating last summer, they have worked to keep their relationship out of the public eye. After her split with her fiancee, David Moscow, in 2007, Washington told People that she, “was always that girl who was in long-term relationships … I am totally the girl who gets introduced to someone through a mutual friend and a dinner party, falls in love and then is with them for like two years.”
