Since her days on Barney and Friends, Selena Gomez has truly blossomed and made a name for herself as a singer, actress, and fashionista. She was born on July 22, 1992 when her mother Mandy was only 16 years old. At seven years old, she and childhood friend Demi Lovato appeared on the popular children’s show for two years before being dropped from the series. After Barney and Friends, she landed a couple of small roles in Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over and Texas Ranger. Her first appearances on the Disney Channel were as Gwen on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and as Mikayla in Hannah Montana.
