In a recent celebrity news from Red Magazine, Mad Men actress and proud single celebrity January Jones opened up about the only (little) man she needs in her life. That, of course, being her 5-year-old son, Xander. She has never revealed the identity of Xander’s father to the public, saying that that information is strictly the business of her son. Jones, 38, said something a lot of modern day single moms might need to hear: “It’s good to have strong women around a man. To teach him to respect women. He doesn’t have a male person in his life saying ‘don’t cry’ or ‘you throw like a girl.’ All those s—ty things dads accidentally do.” She went on to say, “I just don’t feel I need a partner. Do I want one? Maybe. But I don’t feel unhappy or lonely,”.

Hollywood relationships are notorious for how short they usually are, but this celebrity couple called it quits after only five months together! UsMagazine.com reported that January Jones and Will Forte have ended their relationship and love life, which started in April on the set of their show The Last Man on Earth. The celebrity exes successfully avoided each other at the 67th Emmy Awards. It is rumored that the cause of the break-up was because Jones is not looking for commitment.

January Jones, made famous by her role as Betty Draper (now Betty Francis) on AMC’s hit show Mad Men, described her feelings of coming back to work seven weeks after giving birth to her son, Xander, as first day of school nerves.  According to People, the long days on the set were tough for her, especially with her son being so little, but work did everything possible to make it comfortable for her.  “The first episode I’m always finding my way back into my character’s shoes.  But, then after a few days, I’m able to fall pretty easily back into her, and find her voice and her body language and everything that I do for her,” said Jones.

January Jones has been playing supermom, being a single mother for newborn, Xander, while working hard on the set for season 5 of Mad Men.  She had already been on the set and was working hard when Xander was only 6 to 7 weeks old.  But the 34-year-old actress told UsMagazine.com, “It was difficult to be a working mom and just juggling all of that.  But everyone made it work and it was great.”  Even though she is a single working mother, the staff on the set has made her job as a mother and actress that much easier.

Mad Men star January Jones got into a hit-and-run accident last weekend, and called on Food Network star Bobby Flay to assist her, Flay’s rep confirmed to E! News.  Jones called Flay before she called the police.  While Flay claims the two have only met a few times, some sources are calling Flay and Jones’ relationship into question.  Flay’s wife has yet to comment on the incident. They have been married for five years.
