Our families can be known for meddling in our relationships. The same goes for famous families, and it seems like Britney Spears had her eye on her little sister Jamie Lynn Spears being in a celebrity couple at one point. It was John Stamos who revealed to UsMagazine.com, “Britney tried to fix Taylor [Lautner] up with her sister one time.” Lautner confirmed a few years ago that Britney did try to set the two up, but he cleared things up, admitting the two never went out. Currently,  Lautner is enjoying the single life and if the right person comes along, he may be willing to try a new celebrity relationship. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Lautner revealed what he is looking for in a relationship, “Loyalty, honesty [are important qualities]. What’s really important to me is somebody who can totally let loose and pretty much be themselves and have fun.”

According to People, Britney Spears went straight to Twitter on Monday morning to congratulate her sister Jamie Lynn Spears on her recent engagement. It seems little Spears is moving on her way in the world! Huffington Post announced that Britney, 31, said, “So excited and happy for my sister, congrats @jamielynnspears – love you.” Even though Spears recently went through a breakup from her fiance, Jason Trawick, she is still able to be happy for her sister. Good for you, Jamie Lynn and Jamie Watson!

Celebrity couples are breaking up, getting back together, moving on, finding new love and embracing the single life on any given day. In fact, many of them are experts at being indecisive and unstable when it comes to relationships. It’s not exactly a lifestyle to strive toward, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t make us smile when a sweet pair of our favorite stars decides to get back together after previously calling it quits. Here are some notable duos that elected to give it another shot this summer:

1. Lady Gaga and Luc Carl: Gaga told Rolling Stone last year that she had never loved anyone like [Luc Carl] before. She was even quoted as saying, “That relationship really shaped me.”  Despite these words, it was reported in May that the Bad Romance singer ended their “few year relationship.”  It was short-lived because by June the couple appeared to be together again. A source told UsMagazine.com, “They had a little fight. I think the break-up lasted a week or two. They are totally back together now.”  Sounds like this one may have been the shortest breakup in celebrity history.
