In the name of country music! Country is one of the most popular genres of music. For decades, it has been ruling the charts. One of the reasons that country music is so popular is because it is very relatable to everybody. Country songs are usually about family, friends, God, and of course – love. Whether it’s an upbeat country pop song about hanging out and having a cold beer after working hard, or a love ballad about a breakup – the country music genre has it covered. Country music celebrity couples tend to have long lasting marriages and relationships, and they typically have families – where they are very hands on and involved with family life. It’s incredibly refreshing, especially in this day and age. (Their celebrity weddings are always beautiful!) These celebrity relationships are here to stay. Johnny Cash and June Carter were the King and Queen of country music and married life. Now there are more country music couples following in their footsteps, and we couldn’t be happier for these healthy and loving relationships!

Hillary Scott flaunted her growing baby bump and she posed for the cameras on the red carpet for the ACM Awards. According to UsMagazine.com, Scott announced in December that she and husband, Chris Tyrrell are expecting their first child together. The Lady Antebellum singer was nominated for Vocal Group of the Year with band members Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley. Backstage, Scott tweeted, “So thankful to be getting ready backstage at the ACM Awards with the beautiful  ladies in Little Big Town who are teaching me about being a mama!” Scott confirmed that she and Tyrrell are expecting a baby girl. In January, Scott posted a humorous tweet refering to her pregnancy cravings,”Who has two thumbs and just asked her husband, and very nicely I might add, to  run into the grocery store for pop tarts? ME! Pregnancy.”

Congrats to Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott and drummer Chris Tyrrell, who are officially married, as of Saturday.  The couple, who has been engaged since July, held a small ceremony in upstate New York in front of family and close friends, according to People.  “We got married,” Scott, 25, said as she flashed a wedding ring in a video on Lady Antebellum’s website with her new hubby.  “We just wanted you to hear it from us first.  We love you.  We’re so excited to be starting our life together and we just had to let you in on the exciting news.”  Scott said she couldn’t be happier and loves having someone in her life who completely accepts her.  “Everything is brighter.  Everything has a deeper meaning.  I’ve found a guy who truly embraces me for who I am and appreciates the things that I don’t necessarily love about myself.”

There was yet another reason to celebrate on July 4th, as Chris Tyrrell proposed to Hillary Scott during a romantic sunset on Independence Day.  “Chris proposed exactly the way I’ve always dreamed.  Our families were close by, but it was just us out on a beautiful deck overlooking a lake in East Tennessee,” the Lady Antebellum lead singer told People.  The proposal was romantic, yet casual, as it took place during a hike and the couple was wearing work-out attire.  Although the wedding date is not yet set, the couple looks forward to “forever together.”
