Is there such a thing as ‘Mr. Right?’ Hollywood and the movie producers have made us to believe so! It is very difficult to sift through reality and sweep our fantasies under the rug when it comes to our own personal love lives. We watch our favorite female celebrities being lifted off their feet (many times) on the big screen while riding off into the night hand-in-hand with a George Clooney or Zac Efron while we are left drooling and fantasizing about our own love story. We leave the movie theater captivated by this notion of ‘Mr. Right,’ and we’re deceived by love more than ever. Let’s take a look at a few important factors to keep in mind when aiming to find your ‘Mr. Right’:

Is there some tension brewing between Angelina Jolie and Stacy Keibler? According to UsMagazine.com, the two ladies awkwardly ran into each other while accompanying their nominated men recently. Jolie’s longtime lover Brad Pitt and Kiebler’s boyfriend of six months, George Clooney saw each other at the Screen Actors Guild Awards last weekend. Keibler was reportedly fixated on Pitt when the two couples caught up with each other and even posed for what seemed to be an awkward group shot while walking the red carpet. This isn’t the first time Jolie and Keibler have had a weird moment when bumping into each other. A few weeks ago, the skies weren’t so friendly when Jolie and Keibler both hopped on the same private plane with their men while heading to the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
What do you do if you don’t get along with your beau’s best friend’s girlfriend?
George Clooney knows a good girl when he’s got one. The actor jokingly told reporters that he doesn’t let girlfriend Stacy Keibler go out. According to UsMagazine.com, the former WWE star played along with the reporters saying, “George keeps me locked up.” They have much more in common than not wanting to go out on the town, however. The duo also have similar taste in fashion, according to Keibler. “Whatever I end up liking, he likes it , too. So it works out good because if he didn’t, then I don’t know what I would do!”

Stacy Keibler didn’t have to worry about where her New Year’s kiss was going to come from because she and boyfriend George Clooney celebrated the arrival of 2012 together with family and friends at their home in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Peoplereported that, although the former Dancing With The Stars contestant and hunky actor kept things low key this holiday, they still participated in usual NYE festivities. “There will definitely be some dancing and drinking going on,” Keibler explained beforehand.

With the holidays just around the corner, some people are starting to panic as they worry about what to buy for everyone. Of particular concern for many is what to buy for their significant others. Whether you are newly attached or longtime lovers, everyone wants to find a gift under the tree.
Believe it or not, even celebrities have these worries. After all, behind the fame and glamour, they are flesh and blood humans. Just like us, they have similar worries and doubts. In that spirit, here’s a guide to holiday shopping for your significant others, whether you’re famous or not:
With New Year’s Eve around the corner, people are beginning to dream about who they’d love to lock lips with at midnight. According to a recent survey of over 1,000 readers from omg!, the two who dominate this list are Jennifer Aniston and George Clooney. For the celebrity men, the survey reported that 28 percent of women wish for a smooch from Clooney on Dec. 31 with Johnny Depp coming in at a close second with 27 percent. Surprising to most, star of Crazy, Stupid, Love and The Notebook Ryan Gosling only stole 7 percent of women’s dream kisses. On the female celebrity side of things, Aniston, the star of Friends and Horrible Bosses, captured 22 percent of men, while Halle Berry came in second with 18 percent.
If you could share a kiss with a celebrity at midnight, who would it be? Share your choices below.

George Clooney is infamous for being very private when it comes to the media. His girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, however, loves to tweet about their relationship. In response to his new mate’s public ways, he had this to tell Rolling Stone magazine: “She can do whatever she wants, I rarely tell anybody what they should be doing with their life.” It looks like things are getting serious, too. According to UsMagazine, in Kiebler’s latest tweet, she dropped the “L” word, stating, “You know it’s love when your boyfriend has elbow surgery 2 days ago and takes you to a Ravens game. Especially when he’s a Bengals fan.” Maybe Clooney won’t tweet his feelings for all to see, but often when your partner does trumps when they say.

Elisabetta Canalis is already moving on. The former Italian TV personality, who dated George Clooney for two years until their split last June, is now in a new relationship with True Blood star Mehcad Brooks, reports UsMagazine.com. “They started seeing each other after she left Dancing with the Stars,” said a source. “She already refers to him as her boyfriend. They’re really cute.”

Dancing with the Stars alum Elisabetta Canalis, who dated George Clooney for two years until their split in June, recently revealed some reasons behind her split with the actor, reports People. Canalis has been quoted in a Questo Amore (This Love), a new book by Italian journalist Bruno Vespa, where she says she had a “father-daughter relationship” with Clooney. “[Clooney] has been special for me, and very important, just as a father would be,” said Canalis in the book. “Between us there was more of a father-daughter relationship.”

Stacy Keibler told People just what she thinks of her new beau George Clooney on Friday at the premiere of his new film, The Ides of March … “Everything!” she said. That said, the fresh duo is taking baby steps into the public eye together. For example, rather than walking the red carpet arm-in-arm, Keibler and Clooney attended an after party with friends at the Deq Lounge at the Ritz-Carlton where they were seen chatting and laughing. One party goer said, “They have good chemistry, and she can hold her own with the boys. They both can equally be the life of the party.”

With the end of summer comes a new batch of films. Entertainment reporter Sara Edwards tells us her picks to look for at theatres:
9/2: The Debt
The espionage thriller boasts a stellar cast. The story centers around retired Mossad secret agents Rachel and Stephan played by Helen Mirren and Tom Wilkenson. They discover they need to settle unfinished business started 30 years earlier while on a secret mission for Israel. They were sent to track down a Nazi war criminal, using Rachel as “the lure” to draw him into a trap. Jessica Chastain plays the young Mirren who struggles with her duty when romantic feelings surface. The film bounces back and forth between two time periods with John Madden, who directed “Shakespeare in Love”, at the helm, this promises to be a winner.
9/9: Contagion
Another terrific cast is assembled, this time for a thriller about a highly communicable virus that wipes out millions of people worldwide in just weeks. Amidst the international chaos, Matt Damon plays a Midwesterner whose wife, played by Gwyneth Paltrow, is one of the first to get the disease. Kate Winslet is a doctor for the Center for Disease Control and Marion Cotillard plays a World Health Official. Add Jude Law to the mix as a crusading blogger and Steven Soderbergh as director and you have a recipe for a heart pounding journey.
9/16: I Don’t Know How She Does It!
Carrie fans will be thrilled that Sarah Jessica-Parker is back on the big screen in the romantic comedy about a working Mom who’s high wire act is dangerously starting to come crashing down. The premise isn’t original, but it will be fun to watch her navigate that slippery slope that all too many women cope with every day.
9/23: Moneyball
Based on a true story, Brad Pitt plays Oakland A’s general manager Billy Beane as he struggles to reinvent his cash poor and undervauled team in the early 2000s. But don’t call this just a baseball movie. Life lessons abound as Pitt and Jonah Hill, a clever young A’s exec, toss out the rule book and realize that thinking outside the box gives everyone a chance to start again. Word is that Pitt hits this dramedy out of the park!
9/30: 50/50
I’ve loved Joseph Gordon-Levitt ever since he played the sweet and vulnerable guy in 500 Days of Summer. In 50/50 he plays a young man diagnosed with spinal cancer who bonds with his best pal played by Seth Rogen who helps him through the chemo and the tough diagnosis with heart and humor. In real life, Rogen’s best friend went through this harrowing scenario and he asked his pal, now in remission, to write the screenplay. Poignant and funny.
10/7: The Ides of March
George Clooney stars in this. Need I say more? Ides is a political thriller that takes us inside the intense climate of a presidential campaign. Clooney plays Gov. Mike Morris, an inspiring Democratic candidate, who discovers that his young media strategist has a secret that could destroy his campaign. He’s forced to choose between morality and winning. Clooney co-wrote the script. I’d like to see the Sexiest Man Alive run for office one day!
10/7: Footloose
Come on! Consider this a guilty pleasure, especially if you grew up with Kevin Bacon’s 1985 version. The new “Ren” is played by 27 year old newcomer Kenny Worlmald of MTV’s Dancelife. And former Dancing with the Stars favorite Julianne Hough is the preacher’s daughter who loves to shake things up on the dance floor.
10/28: Like Crazy
This love story won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance film festival this year. It’s the tale of a long-distance relationship about college lovers who try to sustain that passion on opposite ends of the world. Felicity Jones and Anton Yelchin are the appealing couple who are determined to be together despite work, immigration laws, and their own insecurities.
11/04: Tower Heist
The comic dream team of Eddie Murphy and Ben Stiller stars in this caper. A group of employees at a luxury apartment complex decide to steal 20 million from one of the residents, a Bernie Madoff type who lost their pension funds in a Ponzi scheme. Given the recession, this stealing from the rich premise becomes even more satisfying, as well as hilarious.
11/18: The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part One
We finally see Bella and Edward’s long-awaiting wedding and passionate honeymoon consummation. And then, a half-vampire baby? That’s the big news in the beginning of the end of the insanely popular series. If you have followed it this far, you will see it through until the bitter end.
11/23: The Descendants
George Clooney au deux! It’s a busy fall for George on the big screen. I have high hopes for this drama helmed by Sideways director Alexander Payne. Clooney is a Hawaiian land baron whose life is turned upside down after his beloved wife goes into a coma and he learns that she’d been having an affair. A complicated affair of the heart.
12/16: The Iron Lady
Meryl Streep who has recently brought us the likes of Julia Child and Vogue’s dragon lady Anna Wintour to the big screen, this time morphs into former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher during her peak of power in the 1980s. The film is about her extraordinary political career, along with the love she sacrificed on the way. Hey, Meryl reading the phone book would be interesting.
12/21: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
I loved the Swedish film based on Stieg Larsson’s best seller, but I’m ready for the American version now. I just can’t get enough of his trouble heroine Lisbeth Salander who is now played by Rooney Mara. Daniel Craig takes on the role of the Swedish journalist Mikael Blomkist. As a fan of the book I’m looking forward to this, but the pressure is on for director David Fincher to come through!
12/23: We Bought a Zoo
Matt Damon plays Benjamin Mee, a real-life London newspaper columnist who moved his family to a decrepit rural zoo, and after the death of his wife from cancer, worked to reopen it. As the animals prosper, he finds his own healing gifts. This feel good tearjerker is perfect for the holidays.
12/28: War Horse
Steven Spielberg is back at the helm with a World War I story about a British farm boy who nurtures a pet horse until his father sells the horse to the British Army. He enlists as well and hopes one day to be reunited with his equine pal Joey. Bring hankies to this one too.
12/18: Carnage
Based on the hilarious and searing Broadway production God of Carnage, the top notch cast ofKate Winslet, John C. Reilly, and Oscar winners Christoph Waltz and Jodie Foster star in this film adaptation. Two couples meet to discuss the fight between their two sons. A civil discussion descends into an all out brawl between the parents that will have you laughing out loud. I just hope the movie is as good as the play!

Single ladies around the world can now rejoice! George Clooney has officially separated from his latest girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis.
The couple has called off their relationship, leaving the dating pool wide open for Clooney, one of Hollywood’s most attractive men. If you’ve got your eye on this “sexiest man alive,” you’re not alone. But do you have what it takes to attract this notorious bachelor? Here are the top 10 qualities he looks for in a woman. See if you measure up!
1. Foreign beauty: If you’re from a country outside of the U.S., your odds of landing Clooney have significantly gone up. Celine Balitran (France), Mariella Frostup (Norway) and Canalis (Italy) are just a few of his “foreign affairs.”
2. Big name actress: One of the most successful men in Hollywood would surely be attracted to an equally successful actress. And rightfully so, since both understand the demands and stresses that come with the job. Clooney’s past women have resumes almost as impressive as his; just take a look at Julia Roberts, Charlize Theron, Kelly Preston and Renee Zellwegger. But don’t plan on starring in a movie alongside George to win his affection. It appears he doesn’t date his co-stars – at least, not during filming.

Will reporters ever stop asking George Clooney if he’s getting married? Probably not, and according to People, Piers Morgan had a shot at asking last week when Clooney appeared on his CNN show, Piers Morgan Tonight. “I hate to blow your whole news story, but I was married,” Clooney told Morgan. Nick Clooney, George’s father, appeared on the show with his son and used his own 51-year marriage to George’s mom Nina as an example of why he should reconsider. However, George, who was wed to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993, believes once is enough. He added, “I’ve proven how good I was at it, and I just. … I’m allowed one.”
After divorce, should you give marriage another shot?

Well folks, it’s awards season, and you know what that means: gawking at the uber-hot celebrity couples on the red carpet! But before we get to that, a few (quite important) announcements still need to be made, like the nominations for the 83rd Academy Awards. Lucky for you, Cupid will be streaming the broadcast live on our homepage tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 25 at 5:30am PT/8:30am ET, with help from Livestream!

Forbes may be a money magazine, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t love celebrities, too! Last week, the magazine reported on a recent study conducted by the University of Abertay Dundee in Scotland, which found that as women earn money and financial independence, their attraction to good-looking, older men increases. In addition, these women hold a man’s looks to a higher standard. The university has dubbed this “The George Clooney effect.”
Previous studies have found that women care more about whether or not a man can provide for them, while men were more attracted to lookers. This new study showed that when a woman’s income increases, her taste in men change.
We know how effective media is in shaping our perspective and even our values, including our self-image. We know that being bombarded with images of beautiful men and women molds our vision of attractiveness. As we mature, we know it’s fantasy, and that even Hollywood beauties don’t look that stunning without professional hair, make-up, wardrobe and lighting.
By now, you’ve probably seen the Dove video called “Evolution.” It shows how an attractive woman morphs into a fabulous knockout through professional hair, make-up, lighting, and yes, even Photoshop.
How do these unrealistic images affect your dating life?

Recently there have been all kinds of tabloid rumors working to put a chink in the bond between George and his stunning Italian amore-du-jour Elisabetta (sex and drug scandals anyone?). Though Elisabetta has chalked a lot of it up to envy (okay, we’ll admit we’re a little jealous but seriously…that wouldn’t cause us to implicate her in a drug debacle), later this summer there was also a flurry of speculation that E and G were about to become EG (in other words, they were possibly EnGaged).
While more recent reports have explained that the reported left-hand ring flash was actually a napkin ring with which she was playing at dinner (on her left hand while waving it to the paparazzi…ummm…okay, whatever), the reality is that there may actually be some validity to the idea that good ole’ George is in a commitment frame of mind when it comes to his latest gal.

George Clooney’s on the defense again! The actor’s rep has come to his rescue by shooting down a fresh batch of rumors that he has proposed to his Italian model girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis. The engagement rumors took flight after Canalis was spotted with a ring on a very telling finger, according to Starpulse. Clooney’s rep said, “There’s nothing to comment on. She likes to wear rings. No more, no less.” Although Cupid previously reported that the couple were getting serious, they are apparently still just enjoying each other’s company – sans marriage. Is there a tactful way to get people to stop pressuring you about marriage?

Despite rumors from an Italian newspaper that the couple had separated, George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis are still going strong. Canalis opened up to Vanity Fair’s Italian edition, dismissing any rumors that they have split as jealousy, People reported this week. In fact, she told the magazine, “Those who criticize or invent stories about us are just jealous.”
What should you do when people try to meddle with your relationship?
Just a week after his costar Jenna Fischer got married, The Office star John Krasinski wed actress Emily Blunt, People reported Saturday. US Weekly confirmed that couple married in Italy, after spending the week with George Clooney at his villa in Lake Como. The newlyweds have been dating since 2008, and got engaged last August.
