Candace Cameron Helaine Bure is an American actress most recognized for her role as D.J. Tanner on the hit ABC family sitcom Full House, which aired from 1987 to 1995. Additionally, Bure has over 60 productions under her belt, seven of which she has produced or written, including The Uncertainty Principle, Christmas Under Wraps, and Aurora Teagarden Mystery: A Bone To Pick. Most recently, Bure has been a cast member on daytime talk show The View and has reprised her role as D.J. Tanner in the Netflix spinoff Fuller House. In 2014, Bure was a contestant on season 18’s Dancing with the Stars. Unfortunately, Bure did not win the DWTS title, however, she and her partner Mark Ballas did make it to third place in the season finale.
As for her celebrity relationship status, Bure married Russian NHL ice hockey player, Valeri Bure in 1996 at the age of 20. The celebrity couple has three teenage children, Natasha, Lev and Maksim, and have had a successful and loving celebrity marriage. As a born again Christian, Bure credits her faith as the force that has kept her family together.
Aside from being a multi-talented mom, Bure is a self-proclaimed beauty lover that is also environmentally conscious. Bure is currently partnered with Unilever on a campaign that promotes the recycling of hygiene products.
