Leeza Gibbons is an American entertainment journalist, New York Times bestselling author, a Daytime Emmy Winner as well as Season 7 champion of the hit reality TV show, Celebrity Apprentice.
Gibbons was born in South Carolina and attended the University of Carolina for journalism and mass communication. She gained her start in television news in 1993 with New York’s WCBS, and went on to host a number of shows after that, including John & Leeza from Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight. In 2011, Gibbons became managing editor of Extra and host of PBS show My Generation. Most recently, Gibbons was executive producer of the television series America Now and was co-host alongside Bill Rancic for 86 episodes.
