According to People, Hugh Hefner surprised everyone this holiday season by proposing to girlfriend, Crystal Harris, while exchanging gifts with her on Christmas Eve. The Playboy founder then announced on Twitter that his new fiancé burst into tears when he gave her the ring. To clarify that we was actually engaged, he later tweeted, “Yes, the ring I gave Crystal is an engagement ring. I didn’t mean to make a mystery out of it. A very Merry Christmas to all.” Harris was December 2009’s Playboy Playmate. As Hugh Hefner is 84 and his new fiancé is 24,there is a 60 year age difference between the couple.
