Plus, in early August,  Lenovo and Microsoft teamed up with Timbaland to launch a contest that empowered independent musicians as well as their fans. More than 5,000 singers, songwriters, and music artists have entered to be contestants in the Team Up with Timbaland Song Contest — and there are still two days left to enter! The contest has received shout-outs from amazing artists that you and your sweetheart love, including Missy Elliot, Lil Kim, and Snoop Dogg.
After the contest closes on Sunday, September 28, Timbaland and a team of judges will review the entries and judge the songs based on creativity, originality, and recording appeal. They will narrow them down to the top five finalists, who will be announced in mid-October. They will each be given a two-week surprise musical challenge, and Timbaland will pick one winner, who will receive a day in the recording studio with him in Miami. We wish you all the best of luck!
