Fast & Furious 6 star Jordana Brewster and husband Andrew Form recently welcomed a baby boy. According to People, the couple had their son Julian via a surrogate. And they’re not done yet: They hope to add another child to their family someday. “I definitely want to have kids. I want two. I grew up with a sister, but I know Andrew would love boys. I’ll take what I can get,” the new mom said earlier this year.

2. You can still have a biological child: If you are having trouble conceiving naturally, using a surrogate allows you to be genetically-related to your child. It’s a great alternative to adoption.
3. It allows same-gender couples to have a child: If you are in a same-gender relationship and are ready to have a baby with your partner, this is a great option for you to expand your family.
