Should you keep your spouse as a business partner if you decide to end your marriage?
Cupid’s Advice:
You should only continue to be business partners if you can both agree that remaining partners is what’s best for the success of the business. Â Here are three things you’ll need to apply:
1. Trust: If your divorce has caused a lack of trust between the two of you, it may be a struggle to trust each other as business partners.
2. Understanding: Â It’s important that you both realize your relationship is now strictly business. Â Don’t budge on this or it will inevitably cause problems.
3. Maturity: Â You’re going to want to get under each others’ skin, but you need to act like adults so you can make the best decisions for the business.
