Tom Brady was born on August 3, 1977, in San Mateo, California. He was a star baseball and football player in high school, and after graduating in 1995, he passed up a chance to go professional in baseball in order to attend the University of Michigan and play football there. During his first two years in college, he was given hardly any play time, but in his junior year, he became starting quarterback. He was then drafted by the Patriots in the 2000 NFL draft. With Brady on their team as a starter, the Patriots have earned six trips to the Super Bowl and have won four, including the most recent championship game in 2015.
The famous athlete has had two notable relationships since his rise to fame. From 2004 until 2006, Tom Brady dated actress Bridget Moynahan. In December 2006, the famous couple split, and shortly after, he began a celebrity relationship with Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen after being set up on a blind date by a mutual friend. In February 2007, it was revealed that Moynahan was more than three months pregnant with her and Brady’s child. Though he wasn’t in the delivery room when their son John Edward Thomas Moynahan was born, he was present the day of the birth.
The quarterback became a married man when he and Bundchen tied the knot on February 26, 2009 in an intimate Catholic ceremony in Santa Monica. After 10 months of marriage, the celebrity couple welcomed their first child into the world, a son named Benjamin Rein Brady. A few years later, in 2012, their daughter Vivian Lake Brady was born. The famous family moved into a 20 million dollar mansion in Los Angeles in 2012 and then bought a 14 million dollar condo in Manhattan one year later. Right now, they’re building another home near Boston.
