This is the Bravo star’s latest book, which is also a part of Lyss Stern’s DivaMoms Book Club, a telltale sign that this is a must have for your personal book collection! Cupid’s Pulse had the opportunity to meet Kargman at the sold out event.

Kargman revealed that her daughter Ivy was actually the brain behind her book title after the passing of her aunt. In her daughter’s opinion, flowers didn’t do her memory justice. In a surprising twist, Ivy proceeded to tell Kargman, that if she passes away, she is going to sprinkle glitter on her grave because that’s just how fabulous she is! Not to mention how difficult it is to clean up, so it’s remnants would definitely last longer than flowers. Kargman also shared with her New York guests, that although she is not a fan of Los Angeles, she is excited to go there to attend the Emmy’s.

The event was hosted by the DivaMoms Book Club at the Armitron building in Manhattan. Guests had the opportunity to explore the Armitron showroom and browse their stylish and unique watch collection. They were also treated to hors d’oeuvres and delicious cocktails by Owl’s Brew, along with a wonderful candy bar that was impossible to resist. Kargman signed and sold books at the event, and gave time for attendees to have a Q&A.

Celebrity Interview: ‘Botched’ Star Dr. Paul Nassif Discusses Being Single, Skincare and Spin-Off Shows

Dr. Paul Nassif is more than a doctor on reality TV. He’s a renowned facial plastic surgeon and skincare specialist. Though people may remember him from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, he’s even more recognizable for his E! reality series, Botched which he co-hosts with former RHOC star, Dr. Terry Dubrow. The success of Botched has even led to a few upcoming spin-off shows, Botched By Nature and Botched Post-Op. Last week, Nassif spoke to us in an exclusive celebrity interview about the upcoming spin-off shows, his new anti-aging skincare line and his very single relationship status.

Reality TV Star Dr. Paul Nassif Talks ‘Botched’ Success

Back when Nassif first developed the concept for Botched and pitched the show, his co-host was doubtful, calling Nassif “crazy” for wanting to put plastic surgery on TV. “Now look at us,” the former RHOBH star says. Botched is in its third season and the show has led to multiple spin-off series. One of the many reasons for the show’s success is that all the cases are legitimate, and Nassif and Dubrow are passionate about their clients. The doctors really enjoy helping their patients through their issues. Nassif says the role of a plastic surgeon is “part doctor and part therapist.” Although extreme cases are common in this line of work, the reality TV star shares that the worst is yet to come. “For me personally, once you see the episodes of Botched By Nature, those are going to be the most riveting and the hardest cases we’ve had to do,” he admits.

One of the differences between Botched By Nature and Botched is the client’s reason behind getting plastic surgery. “Some people got struck by lightning, went through severe accidents, and had deformities,” the plastic surgeon says about the spin-off series. This brings the doctors even closer to the clients. “You really get into the heart of it by going into these people’s homes,” he shares. “You see their families and loved ones, and you’re allowed to discuss these incredible human interest stories about what they’ve had to go through their entire life.” That added personal layer is something the fans haven’t seen before. Due to the extreme cases that they’re dealing with, Botched By Nature has the surgeons on the road, traveling all over the country. But it’s not all serious business. The two friends have some adventures along the way. Nassif explains, “We’ll be going to different parts of the country and doing something fun in each city.” Being on the road has its perks and these two won’t disappoint. “You’re going to see more of a reality between Dubrow and I because we’re traveling. So you get to see a little bit more of that bromance,” Nassif says.

Reality TV Star on Dating & His New Skincare Line

Though he’s always been successful in the operating room, Nassif hasn’t been as successful with romance. He admits that he isn’t dating anybody right now and that he’s found that dating takes a lot of time and energy. “I cleared my slate so I could come home, work out earlier, and get more sleep. Dating is fun, but it’s very taxing,” shares the father of three. He’s already been a part of a celebrity couple for many years, and he isn’t interested in having it again at the moment. While his career flourishes, he’s putting his love life on hold and is focusing on his new skincare line. The NassifMD Bio-Rhythmic and Bio-Clock Dermaceuticals skincare lines are out already, and Nassif uses the collection. When asked how the products differ from others on the market, he explains that he has an understanding of the face and body, and is qualified to know what works. “As a plastic surgeon, I look at skin differently than a dermatologist,” he says.

As a facial reconstruction specialist in Beverly Hills, Nassif also knows that there are many different motivations for getting plastic surgery. The idea that women get work done for their man sometimes happens, but when it comes up in his office, Nassif is strongly against it. “If there’s a wrong reason, I simply won’t do the surgery,” he shares. Typically, his clients are aware of the problem and want to fix it for their own health. “When it comes to facelifts, eyes, and noses, my patients are pretty spot on about wanting to do it for themselves.” The reality TV star has also had some work done himself, such as some reconstruction surgery on his nose here and there. But, the most recent celebrity news is that the doctor hinted he may potentially get Botox on television. He says, “You gotta watch the show. Watch Botched By Nature to see something different regarding me.”

Celebrity Interview: Brandi Glanville Is More Than a Housewife on ‘Famously Single’

Brandi Glanville is more than a “real housewife” and reality TV star. She’s also a single mother looking for a good man. Known mostly for her infamous (drinking) escapades on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH), the mother of two has joined the cast of the new reality television series, Famously Single. The new E! series centers around eight single celebrities living in a house together with the goal of mending their broken hearts and relationship issues once and for all. The singles are advised by relationship coaches, practice dating techniques and attend group therapy sessions throughout the season.

Glanville opened up to CupidsPulse.com in an exclusive celebrity interview, where she gave us the scoop on her recent Instagram booty post, filled us in on her tryst with Calum Best and dished on all things marriage, love and her experience on the new reality TV show, Famously Single.

Glanville has kissed a lot of frogs in her dating life but last week she addressed her most recent (ex) flame on social media by sharing two pictures of her booty on Instagram and on Twitter, where she reclaimed her body and said it no longer belonged to him. The photo created a lot of celebrity news headlines but Glanville gave us the real scoop on who that booty shot was intended for saying, “There’s always that guy that you go back and forth with and you know it’s not good for you, but he’s there when no one else is.”

She says the relationship was on again, off-again for about a year before she decided to end it for good on social media. “We would just hook up but we would never really go out together,” explained Glanville. “He’s an actor and he didn’t want to be seen with someone on a reality show because I guess it makes him less legitimate as an actor.”

Glanville decided to go along with the half-relationship and let it play out. But last week, on her way to his Fourth of July party, her love interest called and told her not to come because it wasn’t the best idea that she be there. Her response? “I got a bottle of rosé, I went to my gay husband’s house, we made Instagram videos, and I taught him how to walk on a runway, and that was my Fourth of July.” Instead of letting her flames rejection consume her, she took to social media and ended it-her way!

Reality TV Star Addresses Recent Celebrity Gossip

The most recent celebrity gossip has focused on the fact that Glanville claims she never wants to get married again and while she admits that to be true she also says that she “would love to meet someone who changes her mind.” Glanville says that she is open to the possibility if it happens but “she doesn’t need a paper to define the relationship.” I guess never say never. On RHOBH, Glanville says that she wasn’t seen as a mother with emotions and a woman with a romantic side, but instead as ‘your drunk friend Brandi.’ Famously Single shows a different side to the former model and allows her to be herself.

The former RHOBH star says that she was skeptical about doing another reality show and unsure how open she should be about the process. “I used to be very touchy feely, and I used to snuggle and now for seven years I don’t do PDA, I don’t snuggle,” she says. Her doubts proved unnecessary because she did connect emotionally on the show with her new Bestie, Calum Best. “Luckily I met someone in the house that I ended up having feelings for,” says the Famously Single star. “It made me feel good again. It made me feel like I’m ready for this again and I don’t have to be so tough and scare everyone off. I really just need to put myself out there and if I get hurt, I get hurt.” The most important part of life is learning how to cope with change and moving on after hard times.

Famously Single taught Glanville a lot about herself, although she didn’t find lasting love in the end. She says Best, her equally famous and single love interest, played a huge part in helping her figure things out. “Ultimately I love him, I adore him. If he was five years older and lived here, things would be different.”

Being on the show was a life changing experience for Glanville and she received plenty of great relationship advice. “I realized that I have to be softer. I have to let people in and give them the chance to get to know me.”

Instead of exploiting single celebrities and trying to make them look bad, the dating coaches on Famously Single try to help them fight through their dating past to make a better future. “I want to be a girl sometimes. I want to let that side of me down and I want to be vulnerable, but having said that I know that’s how I get hurt,” Glanville says. “So it’s just about finding that recognition and Laurel and Darcy helped me find it.”

Glanville doesn’t want to dwell on the past and she isn’t interested in ever going back to the RHOBH show that made her famous. According to Glanville, her time on Famously Single was nothing like RHOBH. “It was completely different,” she says. “They weren’t trying to have us fight with each other. We were all there to work on ourselves. I fell in love with all of them a little bit. It was nice. It was a completely different experience.”

Celebrity Interview: Virtually In Love’s Iyanya Discusses His Online Relationship

Iyanya and Maria met and began dating online. Their story is just one of the many relationships followed on Oxygen Media’s new reality TV show, Virtually in Love. The show takes the popularity of online dating and creates an exciting reality TV experience, where we follow young and eager couples as they progress in their relationships. Cupid’s Pulse had the pleasure of getting to know Iyanya and Maria in our exclusive celebrity interview.

Virtually In Love’s Iyanya Discusses Online Relationship & Provides Relationship Advice in Celebrity Interview

An unlikely place to find love, the social networking app, Instagram brought Maria and Iyanya together. “I was not looking to date anybody. I liked her humor and I thought she was attractive,” Iyanya says of Maria, a 33-year-old lash stylist living in Sweden. After several months of talking through direct messenger on Instagram, the two got to know each other and soon found themselves in a relationship.

The Brooklyn native was not concerned about the distance between himself and Maria, although he resides in Brooklyn, NY and she was living in Sweden. He considered it a “low-pressure situation.” At first, Iyanya did not rush into the relationship, wanting it to form organically and not feel forced. The current model, actor, and DJ had no intention of dating and was focusing on his career. But the couple instantly fit together, “It didn’t take long to realize we actually enjoyed each other.”

The concept of Virtually In Love is that audiences get to know a couple that has been in an online relationship while watching them as they break down barriers by meeting in person and being introduced to their significant other’s friends and family. For Iyanya and Maria, they dated for four months before deciding to take their relationship to the next level and meet in person. Their initial meeting was in Brooklyn, in front of the show’s cameras and they definitely felt the pressure. However, Iyanya said he was happy to finally connect with Maria face-to-face, “I felt alive,” he says of their first encounter. Maria stayed with Iyanya for a week. “I loved the way she smelled,” something unattainable and unknown through an online connection.

When asked if there was anything unexpected that he felt when they first met, Iyanya mentioned that Maria was shorter than he expected. But meeting in person did not change the emotional part of their relationship too much,”the vibe was always there” he said in our celebrity interview. He went on to explain that there were some big differences between talking online and meeting in person, and the emotional aspect of their relationship was online, but now in-person they introduced the physical aspect as well.

When it comes to relationship advice and tips for dating online, Iyanya stresses the importance of naturally getting to know someone and not forcing a relationship. “In relationships, people tend to prematurely get together,” he says. The self-described people person feels it’s crucial to be true to yourself in online relationships because the truth will come out either way. “Know yourself,” he advises.

Pitch Perfect: Skylar Astin Says Celebrity Wedding Will Happen This Year

Fans smiled, laughed, and adored him in Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2, where the charming Skylar Astin melted our hearts alongside Anna Kendrick. But the aca-awesome news revealed during our exclusive celebrity interview last week was that the two love birds plan to tie the knot before years end! Astin spoke to us about his celebrity wedding and discussed his career and his partnership with megabus.com.

While planning a wedding may be stressful to some, the New York City native says he and Camp want to have a “very unique and very relaxed” wedding, where everything is calm, cool and collected. The Pitch Perfect stars have been together since June 2013 and announced their celebrity engagement in January 2016. While the duo doesn’t know the exact date, Astin confirms the pair will tie the knot by the end of the year. The wedding planning is going well and the two are having fun putting together what Astin calls “the best, most meaningful party of your life.” Heartthrob and talented singer, Astin is just as sweet off screen as his on-screen character, Jesse in Pitch Perfect. He thinks of his celebrity wedding to Anna Camp as “our own love story.”

When it comes to Astin’s career, the star has a packed schedule, between his upcoming series and movies. But this is exactly what Astin wants. “I love being busy,” he shares. He feels fortunate to be at the height of his career. Astin is entertaining on the big screen and on the stage as well, with his experience on Broadway. The star says that he enjoys both while explaining that the beauty of working on Broadway is that you have the freedom to change your character each night.

The charismatic actor and singer also sees the importance in charity work. “Since I actually have a voice, I want to use it for good things,” he says. Using his voice, Astin has partnered with megabus.com to provide eco-friendly travel. Megabus.com is an express bus service that goes to 120 cities, transporting 81 passengers in a comfortable double decker bus. For their 10th anniversary, megabus.com is partnering with Arbor Day Foundation to plant 10,000 trees along their bus routes. Celebrity Interview: ‘RHOD’ Star Cary Deuber Says Co-Star LeeAnne is “Loud and Obnoxious”

The trailer for The Real Housewives of Dallas is full of glitz and glam, lively nights out and of course episodes filled with drama. The big spenders and even bigger egos take on the Texas city with their scandals, parties, and unfiltered mouths. In our latest celebrity interview on CupidsPulse.com, we had the pleasure of chatting with cast member and reality TV star Cary Deuber, where we got the scoop on what to expect this season from the Texas bombshells. Deuber, an East Coast native, also chatted about her marriage, motherhood and how she feels about her co-stars.

Reality TV Star Cary Deuber Gives Us Relationship Advice In Celebrity Interview

New to the reality TV scene, Deuber is a certified registered nurse first assistant (CRNFA), but that’s not her only job. She also has a daughter, two step-children, and three dogs, with her husband, successful plastic surgeon, Dr. Mark Deuber. The couple met while at work, where they had a strictly professional relationship but when they found themselves both single, they decided to give it a go. The yoga enthusiast and travel fanatic works side-by-side with her husband now.

Most couples would have a difficult time maintaining a healthy relationship working with their spouse but Deuber says they are best friends. “We have a mutual respect for each other. At work he’s my boss, at home I’m his,” the star says. The dedicated mother feels that it is important for the audience to see that she has a career and a family. “I’m a working woman,” she says. “I think it will be interesting for viewers to see that I’m a hardworking mother.”

Deuber explains her decision for joining the cast by saying, “I try everything once in life, that’s my motto.” The Connecticut native does admit that whenever you put five women together there is bound to be craziness and plenty of “ups and downs.” If the trailers are any indication, we will certainly see Deuber in the middle of her own drama with co-star, LeeAnne Locken. “She just thinks she owns the city. I just find her loud and obnoxious,” she says calling her a “Dallas Socialite” in the trailer. “If I had to vote someone off the island, it’d probably be LeeAnne.”

Deuber considers Stephanie Hollman and Brandi Redmond her closest friends and acknowledges that she has no regrets about her time on the show. “I’m very excited with how all of this turned out,” she shares.

At the end of the day, it all comes back to Deuber’s family and husband which she puts first before anything else. “Making my husband a priority keeps our relationship as great as it is,” she says describing her favorite date night by far was the night they got engaged. “It was in Turks and Caicos and we were just laying by the pool and he proposed to me. It was amazing.”

The best piece of dating advice Deuber offers for a successful marriage is to make sure your spouse is your priority. “Make time for them, and make sure everyday you’re telling them you love them and how important they are in your life,” she adds. The philanthropist and animal lover stressed the importance of vocalizing appreciation and having open communication on a daily basis.

In our celebrity interview, Deuber hints that we will be seeing a lot of their relationship on the show this season. “I call him my backpack, and I take my backpack everywhere with me,” she laughs.

Celebrity Interview: Hollywood Triple Threat Sugith Varughese Discusses New Role In ‘The Girlfriend Experience’

In the latest celebrity news, the famous Steven Soderbergh film turned television series, The Girlfriend Experience, premiered on Starz last night, April 10th. Fortunately, we had the chance to interview Indian-born Canadian actor Sugith Varughese, who plays Tariq Barr, the managing partner of the law firm where Christine works. For those who don’t know the plot, Christine (played by Riley Keogh, daughter of Lisa Marie Presley) is a legal intern by day and a high-end escort “girlfriend” at night.

In our exclusive celebrity interview, Varughese opens up about the show, the casting of his character, and his long-term relationship off-screen.

Celebrity Interview: Sugith Varughese Talks Acting Experience

Being in the business for more than 20 years as a scriptwriter, actor, and director, Varughese thought he’d seen it all. However, one of the biggest surprises came about after his audition for The Girlfriend Experience. “I went in for a three-line part as an East Indian businessman who’s on the phone with his wife in Bombay just before he’s about to hire one of these escorts,” he explains. “I used an Indian accent for that part.” His agent called soon after and said that he “didn’t get that role.” Instead, they cast him for a major role in the series, one intended, he says, for a strong white male character. “The producers had a new vision and even changed my character’s name to reflect my background,” he adds.

For Varughese, it was important that Barr has tremendous confidence, power and status. “Here is a guy who is Indian-American and a managing partner of the biggest patent law office in Chicago,” he says. “He didn’t get that job because his dad owned the firm. He’s going to be somebody who had to be twice as good as everyone else to get where he got.”

Even the way his character dressed was significant to the actor, who noted that he spoke with the costume designer and tried to make Barr’s suit more distinctive. “It was a great opportunity to bring a lot to the performance because the part wasn’t already laid out like a regular television show,” he says. In fact, he didn’t even know what was going to happen to his character until the week of shooting. “We didn’t get the scripts in advance,” he shares.

Given the most recent controversy with the Oscars and the trending hashtag #OscarsSoWhite, there is clearly a problem in terms of recognizing diverse film-making and acting talent. Varughese believes that many of the nominees who should have been on the Oscars stage weren’t there. “I think that the industry itself is changing, but I don’t know if the recognition side of the industry has caught up,” he says in our celebrity interview. “It is important that the people who are doing it and being successful at it are acknowledged as much as anyone else.”

Actor Reveals His Best Relationship Advice

In terms of celebrity relationships, it’s no surprise that dating an actor can be tough. Jealously, competition, and conflicting work schedules aren’t easy to handle. Depending on the person, finding that balance can be a bit of a struggle. Luckily for Varughese, his long-term partner doesn’t work in show business. “The balance is all on my part, and it is up and down,” he says. “She is able to keep things on a more even keel.”

Staying true to yourself, he says, is the most important relationship advice he can give. “The world is divided between us and them,” he explains. “It’s important to emphasize the values that you want in your life in order to make sure that your partner measures up and is consistent with your principles or convictions.” Varughese shares that he and his significant other couldn’t be more different in terms of personality, career, and background. However, the one — and most important — thing they have in common is their core values, including family and love. As a result, they don’t have many conflicts. “If you have the same values, you have a shot at making a relationship work,” he says. “If you don’t have the same values, but you’re both actors, I don’t know if it will work out.”

As for what’s next, Varughese recently finished shooting a pilot in Vancouver — and it was another part that was originally cast for someone completely different. “It’s an exciting time for actors of diverse backgrounds,” he says. “There is now a chance to come into your own and not be judged by ethnicity but by your abilities.”

Celebrity Interview: ‘Mob Wives’ Marissa Jade Says Marriage & Kids Are Not In Her Future

Mob Wives reality TV star, Marissa Fiore (also known as Marissa Jade), may comes across as the ultimate diva and tough girl on television but in our recent interview with her, we learned that there’s a lot more to this doting mother of one than meets the eye. This goal-oriented actress may not be very well known in the “mob” community, but she does hope to become a household name for her acting, modeling and career endeavors. In our latest celebrity interview on CupidsPulse.com, we had the pleasure of chatting with Jade about her career, her son, and her relationship status.

Reality TV Star Marissa Jade Talks About Her Relationship In Celebrity Interview

Despite it being the show’s last season, Mob Wives added a few newcomers, including Fiore and Brittany Fogarty. Fiore was infamous for arguments with some of the other cast members, but does not have any regrets. “I’m very happy with the way I portrayed myself,” she says. While some reality TV stars may watch their show and have a cringe worthy moment, Fiore says looking back on the episodes there was no cringe-moment for her. However, she does recall an episode where she showed up in the ‘wrong’ outfit, but says that she doesn’t regret it. “I thought that I was attending a beach party.” she confessed. Little did she realize she was having a sit-down and fight with Fogarty.

As an actress, Jade has been in scripted shows, including Gossip Girl, Law and Order and The Good Wife. So, people may question the true reality of the Mob Wives given her acting background. “Mob Wives is definitely real, however it is also improvisation at the same time,” she verifies. When asked which genre of television she prefers, she says that she wouldn’t mind doing more reality TV as long as it is not drama based. She is also open to the idea of doing a spin-off show if the opportunity presented itself.

The final season of Mob Wives had its fair share of emotion and drama, especially with the passing of beloved Big Ang. “It was hard at first,” the model shares. “We got to see what she was going through and we thought she was okay. When the cancer came back, it came back so aggressively.” Fiore says she felt like Big Ang got worse overnight. During her time on the show, Fiore did get close with Big Ang and says it was very sad when she passed. “I just started to have a bond with her on the show,” she says. “I liked her. We got along, had great moments, and a lot of great times.” If there’s one thing for certain, the emotions on this season were very real.

Fiore knows that sometimes she can give off the diva image on television, but she says the one thing viewers didn’t see is that she is actually pretty laid back. “I’m really a cool chick…I’m chill,” she says. She also described herself as a tom-boy growing up and one of the dudes. “I hate catty drama,” she added.

In regards to her celebrity relationship, although Fiore is with O.Z. right now she doesn’t see a celebrity wedding in the near future noting that she’s anti-paperwork. “I don’t feel like I need a piece of paper to justify what I am to somebody,” the career-minded actress and model admits. In terms of children, she’s just not interested right now but, “You never know,” she adds. “I want to be a successful model and actress. I want to be a household name,” Right now, she’s a young 31-year-old mom looking to focus on her career she reveals in our one-on-one celebrity interview.

Fiore is definitely making a name for herself, but her 7-year-old son is her biggest fan. Welcome to the show! How has it been being the newest member on Mob Wives?

It’s definitely been a fun experience but also very dramatic.

Is there anything you want people to know about you before they see any of the show?

The show focuses in on a lot of the conflict and aggression. I think people should know that there is a lot more to most of us than just hostility and arguments.

Not only are you the newest member, but the youngest. Do you think this has changed the way the other ladies have treated you? For better or worse?

Absolutely. I think many of the women see my age as a threat and it’s hard for them to accept the fact that someone so much younger like myself can stand my ground, form my own opinions and outwit them.

What was the hardest part about joining the show?

The hardest part for me was learning how to publicly open up about my family and personal life. I’m a pretty private person so that was a big change for me.

We know you love Drita. What do you think about her calling Karen out publicly on social media recently?

From what I see from Drita, she never really does that kind of thing on social media. So in my opinion, Drita must have been fed up with all the constant rumors and verbal attacks on her family.

What made you so close to Drita?

I just genuinely liked her off the bat. I felt she was different from all of the other women on the show in that she is the most down to earth. She never had a superior, controlling, or judgmental attitude with me unlike many of the other women.

Why did you decide to join the cast this season? Is there anything in particular that you hope to gain by doing the show?

I joined the cast because I saw it as an exciting opportunity and as a great platform. I also thought the show could use more people who don’t idolize “the lifestyle.”

Did becoming a part of the Mob Wives cast bring up emotions from your past?

Absolutely. Mostly emotions about my relationship with my father and what we’ve had to go through because of the life he chose.

Has your relationship and love life changed now that you are a reality TV star?

I’m a lot busier and I am focusing on myself and my career right now.

What would be an ideal date night for any eligible bachelors that are reading this?

I love food and being outside, so a relaxing outdoor dinner with some good conversation is always a safe bet with me. And being by a beach is even better.

What can we expect from you once this season is over?

I love fashion, so of course I’m going to continue modeling but I will be working towards moving into the design world of fashion. I’m always working on growing my jewelry business but I would like to start expanding. Designing my own collections of clothing is definitely in my plans.

We can’t believe it’s already the last season of the show! What do you hope to leave viewers with during the final season?

I would like to leave viewers with the knowledge that they can also work through adversity and overcome obstacles. Never give up.

What will you miss most about the show?

The paycheck!

We saw Natalie Guercio tweeted at you with her best wishes after you were reportedly hospitalized over the summer, despite altercations you two have had in the past. What is your relationship with Natalie now?

I acknowledged that she did that, but we’re not friends and never will be. That ship has sailed.

There was some speculations that you would be leaving the show due to health concerns. Were you really debating about filming this season?

I had let the bullshit get the best of me for a minute, which caused me to want to leave. However, I am back in the saddle and happily riding off into the sunset.

Is it true you stopped filming mid-show because of drama with Drita?

Absolutely not. I have nothing to do with the Drita drama for once.

What made you decide to stay on the show?

I started with my sister and will finish with my sister because that’s what family does.

Can we be expecting to see you on the small screen again? Any spin-offs in the making?

You’ll definitely be seeing me in a few other productions. So stay tuned — I’ll be letting fans know shortly.

Is there currently someone special in your life? If so, can we expect to see them on the show?

I still haven’t found Mr. Right. However, I am dating and enjoying being spoiled like a princess…but not a mob princess this time around!

What relationship advice would you give other single mothers on the dating scene?

Don’t bring strangers around your kids until you’re 100 percent sure it’ll work.

What would be your perfect date night?

My perfect date night is ordering takeout and watching a great movie, all spooned up on the couch together.

Any spoilers you can leave us with for this upcoming season?

I don’t give up secrets!

The last time we met, you had just launched your book Playing with Fire. How did the book do? Any plans to write another?

My book did well. I’m actually meeting with networks to turn it into a series…fingers crossed!

I loved my past celebrity interview with Jenn. How is she doing? She’s such a superstar with all that she’s done and created.

My sister is my inspiration. She’s amazing and has several projects that’ll make you wanna watch more TV, so look out for them! She makes me proud.

Of all the roles she’s played, Lori Loughlin is most proud of the one she takes on at home: that of wife and mother. Of course, it’s not always easy to balance her busy career with her family life. “One day at a time – you do the best you can,” she candidly shares in our celebrity interview. “Some things fall through the cracks, but you know, I have a wonderful husband, and he’s always on board… Somehow, we make it work.”

“We’re a tight knit family,” she adds of husband Mossimo Giannulli, daughters Olivia and Isabella, and stepson Gianni.

On Friday date nights, the celebrity couple, who has been married for 18 years, likes to keep things simple, often eating at restaurants close to home. “It’s so funny: You can be married and live in the same house with somebody, but life can be so busy that you feel like you don’t get to have a conversation with that person,” the actress shares. “It’s important to take the time to stop, sit down, have a meal together, and have a conversation – keep communicating.”

The Cuban-born star received the ultimate package of $250,000 and the opportunity to join her idol, Jennifer Lopez onstage at her Las Vegas residency. This celebrity news only gets sweeter as Diaz is currently performing with the SYTYCD tour, which hits 70 cities and runs until January. We had the chance to chat with Diaz last week and in our exclusive celebrity interview, she spoke about her hectic life, her single celebrity status and how she feels about being the first tap dancer in the show’s history!

Gaby Diaz Shares Inside Look at SYTYCD in Our Celebrity Interview

You recently performed for all of your family and friends in your hometown of Miami. What was that like knowing you had your loved ones there?

It was crazy! The energy was incredible in Miami. I was in tears by the end of it because I didn’t want it to be over. The hometown shows are incredibly special. I learned though that you have to pace yourself during the hometown shows because you want to impress your loved ones but I went too full out in the first half and realized I needed to calm down and not kill myself.

What is it like being the first tap dancer to win this contest?

I am very proud to represent the show as the first tap winner. There have been a lot of incredible tap dancers before me who helped pave the way, so I’m just really happy I was able to put tap dancing on the forefront. It was definitely time for a tap winner! I hope this makes people respect tap more as a dance style too because it’s really underrated. I want people to enjoy tap just as much as they enjoy the other more popular styles.

After you got rejected during the season 12 Dallas auditions, you flew to Detroit to try out again, where you obviously made the cut. What inspired you to give it another shot?

It’s always been a dream of mine to be on the show and it’s never seemed like a realistic possibility until 3 of my close friends made it onto the previous season. One of my best friends, Ricky Ubeda, actually ended up winning last season so that pushed me to think “if they can do it, why can’t I?” It helped that I had them prepping me and giving me advice.

What advice did Ricky give you during your journey?

He told me to take the competition one week at a time and not to get ahead of myself. The people who get caught up worrying about getting eliminated or comparing themselves to other dancers just preoccupy their mind with negativity. You need to focus on rehearsing your dances and making sure every dance you perform is in your own style.

How do your Latin roots play into SYTYCD?

I’m trying to get everyone to be speaking fluent Spanish by the end of the tour. I brought people from the tour over to my home to have Cuban food and Yorelis picked up some homemade food in Florida. There’s definitely a strong Latin influence on this tour.

Did you ever think or know that you were going to win?

Everyone hopes to win but you never know how people perceive you and the judges are very good at not showing favoritism. Any of the 4 finalists would’ve been very deserving of the title so I didn’t want to worry myself with the result. I was proud of myself regardless because it was a big accomplishment just making it onto the show.

Given your demanding schedule, it must be hard to balance your career with your personal life. Since CupidsPulse.com is a relationship site, we have to ask: Do you have someone special in your life and how do you balance that?

No, I’m all dance before romance. I said before I auditioned that if I’m going to do the show I need to put my full focus and full energy dedicated to SYTYCD. I didn’t want to have someone that I couldn’t devote the right time and energy to. It’s hard to explain what I’m going through on the show to someone who’s not on it. I’m so young so I’ve got plenty of time for romance.

Celebrity Interview: SYTYCD Finalist Megz Alfonso Inspires Other Dancers Saying, “Don’t Be Afraid of Who You Are”

Born and raised on Long Island by parents who were trained dancers, So You Think You Can Dance finalist Megan “Megz” Alfonso was bred for a life on stage. Known for her extravagant sneaker collection (378 and counting), Alfonso brought a unique edge to the hit reality TV show with her bold and upbeat hip-hop routines. In our celebrity interview, Alfonso told us about the determination it took to become a finalist, which started ten years ago when she auditioned for the first time and faced rejection. Determined to break celebrity news headlines with her SYTYCD performances, she remarkably auditioned for the show three more times before she was able to prove to the world that she had what it took to make it.

Cupid’s Pulse Executive Editor, Lori Bizzoco, had the privilege of getting to know Megz over the past two years while she was a dance instructor for her daughter at Oceanside Dance Center on Long Island. “Megz was an amazing mentor to my young daughter,” Bizzoco said. “You could see that she really liked working with kids, always giving them encouragement and helping to build their confidence.”

The top 10 finalists are currently performing on tour and this month Alfonso will be making three of those tour stops in her native New York State with Huntington, Long Island being her hometown show Saturday, November 7th. In our exclusive celebrity interview, Alfonso gives us the inside scoop on the show, her expectations for her Long Island homecoming tour and her ultimate goals for the future.

Long Island Star Reveals Her Struggle To Make It To The SYTYCD Finals in Our Celebrity Interview

What’s the difference between the work you do on the tour and the work you did on the show?

The only difference was that there was so much more pressure to be on TV. I was being judged and didn’t want to let anyone down. On the tour, we can work on our routine and make it better and better each time.

Can you tell us about your journey through SYTYCD?

I was around 18 years old when I first auditioned and I was just going for the experience. Unfortunately, I didn’t make it through. The year after that, in season 2, I made it all the way to Vegas but didn’t make it any further. After that, I took a two year break to work on myself to keep training and practicing. On Season 5, I auditioned again to see how I improved but I got cut again. I decided I needed a longer break to figure out who I was as a person and took time to tour with my company. When I auditioned for this season, they were more open to different looks and new styles so I think they saw something exciting in me, finally. I auditioned four times before I made it.

Did you feel like this was your year?

Yes, even before I auditioned I was saying to myself that I’ll give it a shot and just see what happens. When I made it straight to Vegas I was so excited. I knew that I needed to push myself. This season, I never stopped training myself no matter what. I wanted to send a message to everyone that your dreams are always a possibility.

You’re a dance teacher to many students. What is it about teaching dance and working with students that you enjoy most?

I love kids because they’re just experiencing everything and are just trying to find who they are as a person. They’re like sponges trying to take in everything and their smiles show it. When they start to realize they’re drawn to something it’s exciting to watch how hungry they are for it. I want to teach them how to find themselves as a person and to grow from their style, not just as dancers but as people.

What does it mean to be a finalist on tour?

I’m just hoping for my two favorite goals to be accomplished: being a Justin Timberlake dancer and Janet Jackson dancer. I’m also excited to go on tour to explore new areas, especially Canada since I’ve never been there. I love learning about new cultures.

Do you have any tips for future contestants?

Don’t be afraid of who you are and don’t let anyone change who you are. You want to show everyone the true love and worth of yourself.

We are a relationship site, so we need to ask: are you currently in a relationship with anyone? And how does that fall into the mix of your busy schedule?

Yes, I am currently in a relationship. I think as long as that person supports what you do and you support them, then you’ll be okay. They need to know that you love doing what you do.

Exclusive Celebrity Interview: Former ‘Bachelor’ Chris Soules Says His Dating Life is “Relatively Non-Exsistent”

It sounds like Chris Soules found his true love…in farming! The star of The Bachelor season 19 truly stepped out of his comfort zone during his stint on reality TV, going from being a farm boy to a celebrity overnight. On the finale episode, he proposed to Whitney Bischoff, but just seven months later, the famous couple announced their celebrity break-up. Now, he seems to be finding solace in his farm.

Former Bachelor Talks Farm Life in Our Exclusive Celebrity Interview

In our exclusive celebrity interview, Soules shares that, prior to his time on reality TV, he had never left Iowa for more than 10 days. Suddenly, he was gone for two months to film The Bachelorette, another two months for The Bachelor, and another two months for Dancing with the Stars. After his third stint on television, he took a step away from Hollywood — and he couldn’t be happier. “It’s been good to get back home and do what I love,” he says. “Going on all these reality shows and being some what disconnected from the farm was pretty unusual for me.”

The former Bachelor describes being a pig farmer as an “intense labor of love,” explaining how, as a farmer, you never truly have a day off because the animals and crops always need care. We only hope that he can give a lucky lady that level of devotion someday!

Recently, Soules was a judge on the National Pork Board, and he introduced us to the winner of this year’s First Annual America’s Pig Farmer of the Year Award, Keith Schoettmer. Schoettmer reveals his approach to farming, saying, “It starts with our responsibility of the farm, which we take very seriously. We properly care for these pigs everyday, and while we’re doing that, we’re not losing sight of the people we work with and the consumers.”

Reality TV Star Opens Up About His Relationships and Love Life

Soules has been on a roller coaster ride for the past year when it comes to his love life. The celeb went from trying to win the heart of Andi Dorfman on The Bachelorette to having his pick of 30 women on The Bachelor to being engaged to Bischoff…to being single again. With that said, relationships and love are the last thing on his mind right now. “My dating life is relatively non-existent… After dating 30 some-odd women and being engaged and going through that whole process, it’s been nice to just kind of get back to normal,” he explains. “Eventually, I’ll get back in the dating rink.” He adds that he and his celebrity ex still keep in touch and are “good friends.”

In our exclusive celebrity interview, the reality TV star admits that his approach to dating hasn’t really changed since being on The Bachelor. “There’s not a lot of changes I’ll probably make. It’s still just about finding the right person, someone who appreciates the farming life and also the finer things in life,” he shares. He believes that finding love this time around will be a little easier since he is “out there,” confessing that there are a lot more women interested in dating him now.

Chris Soules Shares Dating Advice for Upcoming Bachelor Ben Higgins

Soules recently met the newest Bachelor Ben Higgins and says he’s a great guy. He wishes him the best of luck on the reality TV show and adds, “He deserves it. He’s a stand-up guy, and he’s what the show is all about, I think. He’s truly trying to find somebody, so hopefully, that happens for him.”

Of course, the former Bachelor had some dating advice to share with Higgins: “The main advice that I gave him was to make sure you take each relationship that you have with those girls very seriously and make sure they feel as comfortable as possible… In order to have a real relationship develop, those girls need to feel like they’re the only ones involved in the relationship.”

Despite his return to farming, Soules hasn’t completely said goodbye to reality TV just yet. You can catch him on the latest season of Worst Cooks in America on The Food Network. He explains that, although he may be good with a grill, he’s not so great in the kitchen!

Molly Sims Shares How To Be Healthy as a Celebrity Mom

Raising a 3-year-old and 6-month old baby is time-consuming. Squeezing in exercise time can seem like an impossible task. Molly Sims’ advice for staying fit is to schedule time for yourself, even if it’s only five minutes. “Even if you have 20 minutes you can workout,” she says. “Even if it’s at your house, even if it’s on your block.” Sims also shares that you can fit in a workout if you cut time away from other chores, such as getting ready in the morning. “Know what you’re going to wear for the week, it saves a lot of time and a lot of angst,” she added. Getting ahead as much as you can is vital to managing a hectic work week. Also, make sure you carve time out for your significant other! Your relationship and love life is important, so work with your partner as a team in order to balance everything on your to-do list.

In terms of finding time to eat healthy, Sims suggests always having a pack of almonds or a banana on hand to avoid indulging in sugary snacks when you’re on the go. It’s easy to be tempted by the convenience of fast food when you’re in a hurry, but having a healthy alternative with you will give you no reason to cave.

Throughout the celebrity video interview, Sims shows a clear sense of self-worth and self-love, demonstrating how important it is to be confident with ourselves. “The best advice I can give woman is feeling good on the inside…it’s really about feeling good with yourself right now,” Sims says. Rather than over-stress yourself with losing weight, first you must set a goal to be happy on the inside. Stress doesn’t have any benefit to our life so you must focus on personal happiness, then move on to weight loss. Sims also shares her own weight loss struggle. After giving birth to her first child she had to lose 85 lbs! Sims proves that even celebrity moms deal with the same weight-loss issues as regular moms.

In our exclusive celebrity interview with the television host, he opens up about the show, his upcoming role as Lola in Kinky Boots on Broadway, and his modern family dynamic!

Wayne Brady Discusses Charmin’s “Keep it Clean Comedy Show”

Brady has a lot on his plate these days. He is best known for hosting Let’s Make a Deal on CBS as well as being on the very popular Who’s Line Is It Anyway? Additionally, the actor is developing an improv game show with Ryan Seacrest and a sitcom with his producing partner — who also happens to be his celebrity ex — Mandie Taketa.

Even with his full schedule, the busy celeb still made time to give back and help out the future of comedy for Charmin’s “Keep It Clean Comedy Show.” Brady opened up the show with classic interactive improv and even brought his daughter Maile on stage for some father-daughter comedy. He says getting involved with the event was a “no-brainer” because he was excited about helping these young, aspiring comedians. Plus, Charmin offered to donate to his favorite charity, Ronald McDonald House Charities. He was so impressed with the young talent at the event that he thought he could cast a baby Saturday Night Live!

Comedian Shares His Excitement for His Latest Gig on Broadway

NYC will be seeing a lot more of Brady come November. The actor will be the next star of Kinky Boots, playing the role of Lola. He’s performed on Broadway before, acting as Billy Flynn in Chicago. However, the Emmy winner believes that being on Broadway will be different this time around because “Lola is an amazing role.” It’s no surprise that it’ll take a lot of discipline to “sing those songs, wear those heels, walk that walk, and be the guy that helps to hold the entire show up.” The celeb explains that his role as Billy Flynn was “cool and poppin’,” a very different character to play. “For my money, this Lola is one of the best roles on Broadway,” he shares.

Brady also clears up the belief that he is his work, saying, “It’s a job. I think that there’s this weird misconception that I believe most people carry around that, if you’re a stand-up comedian or if you do improv, whatever you do on stage is how you should be in life.” He explains that he isn’t a wind-up doll and is a different person in real life. “When I’m on stage, I let out all the stops — that’s why I started acting,” he reveals. “When I was a kid, you got to use your imagination and be whoever you wanted to be…and then come back to real life and just chill.”

The Dynamic of His Modern Celebrity Family

As fans know, Brady went through a celebrity divorce with Mandie Taketa in 2007. But unlike many celebrity exes, the two managed to stay close, parenting and working together. Last fall, he went through some tough times and battled depression, and the comedian credits his ex-wife for helping him get through it.

Brady confirms that his relationship with Taketa (who was sitting next to him with daughter Maile during our interview) works for a simple reason: “We love each other. We truly love each other — like back to the wall, fight anybody, like I can say something about her, but you can’t because I will fight you, and she will kill you for me,” he explains. “So we have love and friendship. Add to that that we are parents together and business partners in this beautiful venture of a child.” Given his experience, he doesn’t understand the people who can’t be friends, love each other, and happily co-exist because, at the end of the day, they are still a family.

The comedian shares that he’s happily single at the moment. “I tried dating in the past, and it’s not that I don’t want to or won’t, but now is not the time,” he says. “I’m enjoying my life. I’ve got my daughter; I get to hang out with my best friend; and I get to do amazing work. I’ll get around to it at some point.”

The celebrity father didn’t hesitate when asked to give his daughter dating advice, quoting his daughter’s mother and saying, “Don’t give anybody your time that won’t respect your boundaries and respect you as a person. You’ve got to be willing and ready to do what you have to do to back that up. I wouldn’t want her to be with someone who doesn’t pay attention to those things.”

Holly Madison Says Her Past As Playboy Bunny is Like “The Elephant in the Room That Never Goes Away”

Holly Madison best known for being a former Playboy bunny and Hugh Hefner’s #1 celebrity ex has written her first memoir titled ‘Down the Rabbit Hole.’ In the book, she speaks openly about her relationship with Hefner, the other girls in the house and her biggest life lessons. In our exclusive celebrity interview with the reality TV star, now author, she expresses that she wishes this book will help other young women in bad relationships and hopes they learn from her mistakes.

Reality TV star reflects on her past

The former Girl Next Door has certainly moved on from her Playboy days. She has been married for two years and is mom to two-year-old daughter, Rainbow. Madison shared that she is happy to have such a supportive husband who is proud of her for telling her story.

After her celebrity break-up with celebrity ex Hefner, Madison did her best to stay quiet about her time in the mansion, “I didn’t want to talk about anything Playboy related because I felt like that was going back to it and I wanted to get away from it, but there is no getting away from it. It’s the elephant in the room that never goes away.”

It’s been seven years since she’s lived in the mansion and Madison now feels like she has a lot of hindsight behind her. This is why she decided to write the book now, “I have a lot more growth and insight as to what I was thinking at the time, and why I made some of the decisions I made, so I definitely wanted to share that with people.”

Her Relationship with Celebrity Ex Hefner and the Other Girls

Madison was Hefner’s girl for seven years, and throughout that time, she felt like she did everything she could to make it work saying, “I always tried to make the best of the situation, you know, I always tried to do my best as a girlfriend and make that relationship work.”

Her celebrity ex, Hefner recently had something to say about the release of Madison’s memoir saying that she “chose to rewrite history” to “stay in the spotlight,” but Madison says that she didn’t have an ax to grind. She says she never wanted to hurt him or get a reaction from him, “He happens to be a big part of my life story, and I’m telling my story.”

Kendra Wilkinson- Baskett and Bridget Marquardt were also a part of Madison’s life story, both also being celebrity exes to Hefner. Madison describes her relationship with Bridget as a true friendship saying, “She was a really close friend to me the whole time I was in the mansion and really the only close friend and the only person I really ever confided in.”

Unfortunately her relationship with Kendra did not stay as tight. The two had a falling out, which Madison describes as “very dumb.” She is saddened that she is not as close with Kendra and said, “The relationships I had with the other girls are very important to me especially after I left the house, because we were the only ones that really shared that experience, and its an experience that weather you are ready to admit it or not, it’s a traumatic experience, but I think she’s still kind of more team Playboy and if that’s what she wants to be that’s fine.”

Overall Madison says Hefner “was lucky to have us” when reminiscing on her relationship with the Playboy founder.

Holly Madison’s Biggest Life Lessons and Relationship Advice

When asked how she will share her past with her daughter, Madison thinks the book will be a great start! She hopes her book will inspire young girls to find healthy relationships and learn from her mistakes. Madison strongly advises girls to find and love yourself before looking for love in someone else. “In a way its the worst advice because you can’t teach anybody how to do that, but it’s so important.”

Madison is hoping to write a second book on the topic of relationships and love, so be on the look out for that!

Reality TV Newcomer Chantelle Fraser Talks Relationship Status & Blood, Sweat and Heels Finale

On this season of the Bravo reality TV show Blood, Sweat and Heels, fans welcomed newcomer Chantelle Fraser to the show’s cast. The UK native and founder of Flawless NYC made her television debut on the popular show and forged strong friendships and even some rivalries along the way. In this exclusive celebrity interview, CupidsPulse.com Executive Editor Lori Bizzoco caught up with Fraser who shared details about her time on the show, who she’s dating, and what’s next for her.

Reality TV Newcomer Discusses Her Experience on the Show

Fraser joined the cast of the Bravo reality TV show in its second season, and cites her experience on the show as “surreal.” She reveals, “Well it’s obviously surreal watching yourself on television, especially because I haven’t been on television before, seeing myself being myself. So that’s always interesting.” Fraser adds that she was pleased with how she portrayed herself, but wished that the show reflected more depth regarding disputes between cast members.

One of Fraser’s biggest disputes this season was between herself and fellow cast member Demetria Lucas D’Oyley. Fraser says that the feud between the two women was not portrayed as well on the show. “Me and Demetria had a bit of beef on the show and I kind of felt like it didn’t really reflect what truly went down from the cut, which was unfortunate,” she says. Currently Fraser confirms that the two women “don’t have a relationship” after the events on the show transpired.

Despite this feud however, the young businesswoman says that she has formed great friendships with some of her fellow cast members including Geneva Thomas and Daisy Lewellyn, both of whom she speaks with regularly.

Bravo Star Shares Relationship Details and What’s Next

Before appearing on Blood, Sweat and Heels, the reality TV star was romantically linked to Mario Singer, the ex-husband of Ramona Singer from Real Housewives of New York. Rumors surrounded Fraser and Singer, who were reportedly believed to be a celebrity couple. However, Fraser revealed that she is currently in a celebrity relationship with one of her ex-boyfriends. She shared that she and her current flame, who is a New York City lawyer, have been dating since the show wrapped almost one year ago and that fans can “forget the rumors” that she and Singer are an item.

Although she has had a mostly positive experience on the show, she says that being in the cast presented challenges as well. “The biggest struggle I think is staying focused on day to day business activities because people want to pull and push you in different directions. It’s great, but at the same time I still need to keep an eye on my business.”

A new project that the entrepreneur is currently working on is flawless-living.com, which she says is a weekly website that is “focused on self development.” Fraser shares “My goal is to be the best version of myself, and I know that it’s the the goal of many other people too. It’s a journey, so we’ve enlisted experts in nutrition, health, wellness, beauty and love.”

After five months of filming, Fraser says that being on the show is better than she imagined. She reveals that the positive feedback from the media as well as the support of her fans have been “overwhelming.” She also adds, “I’m all about growing and learning. By watching myself on TV for better or for worse, I can grow and I can learn.”

Tim Gunn Talks First Date Looks and Summer Fashion Trends

First dates can be nerve-racking, but you shouldn’t worry about what to wear or where to go. “Dress up!” Gunn exclaims. “Dressing up says ‘I want you to see the best of me.’ It’s about respect for yourself and the person you’re dating.” When it comes to finding the perfect first date outfit, Gunn has three essential elements that need to be balanced: Silhouette, proportion, and fit. “When those three elements are in harmony, you will look fabulous no matter what you’re wearing,” he says.

Choosing a location is also very important when it comes to the beginning of a relationship and love. Gunn’s love advice is to always go out to eat. “I believe that a first date should be a meal, because you need to know how they interact with the waitstaff, what table manners they have, and how they interact with you during a meal,” Gunn shares. “I think it’s all telling.”

If you’re going out this summer, then remember that accessories are more important than apparel this season. Whether it’s a new hat, eyewear, or wedges, accessories work with many different looks. Also keep in mind that ‘70’s Bohemian is coming back, so splash into summer with this revived look. “Independent of trends, there is something for everyone,” Gunn shares. “Think about what’s in your closet and what will enhance it. And always try it on! Under all circumstances, make no assumptions about fit.”

Fashion Icon Discusses Project Runway

If you’re eagerly awaiting the new season of Project Runway, then you’ll love to hear that filming for season 14 starts in a few days. Unfortunately, this season Gunn was not able to go on the auditions to see the broad range of talent. However, he did get to look over the new contestants that were chosen. “I’m excited about working with them, they have a lot of personality,” he says. “I hope they don’t cancel each other out with that personality!”

But being on a show for this long doesn’t mean it’s perfect. Gunn says that if he had to change one thing, he would like to be in the workroom when the designers fit their models. “I’ve never seen so much delusion presented to me,” he says. “I’m always asking how the fittings went and invariably it’s ‘Oh, they were great.’ Then, I look at the work on the runway and I’m like ‘What? Is there a new definition of the word great?’”

Reality TV Star Jeannie Mai Talks About the Importance of Recycling

Mai isn’t just promoting recycling for the sake of it; she’s married to hunter and conservationist Freddie Harteis, who stars in the reality TV show, The Hollywood Hunter. Giving back by recycling and helping to keep our land beautiful and healthy for generations to come is something that is very dear to the celebrity couple. This beauty guru says that, for many, recycling means just throwing their cans in a separate garbage bin, but there’s actually so much more to it. She explains that recycling isn’t only limited to the kitchen, saying, “Most people do know that you can recycle — that’s fair bones. But other people don’t realize you can recycle many things that happen to be in your bathroom. Today, most Americans have at least eight bottles of plastic in their bathroom.” All that plastic could be used and recycled in many different ways, but unfortunately, it’s ending up in the trash.

The reality TV star goes on to say, “I think that, once people are educated about it [recycling] and when they see the difference it makes, when they see what it does to relieve the amount of waste in the landfills, it will make people feel differently,” she shares. Mai goes on to explain that “there are 29 million tons of plastic that end up in landfills every single year, just because we’re not aware.”

Beauty Advice for Summer Date Nights

As host of the Style Network’s How Do I Look? and digital correspondent for NBC’s Fashion Star, Mai not only knows how beautiful it is to recycle, but she knows what women can do to look their best when it comes to date night too. Here, she gives us her best three tips:

1. Take care of your skin: “When it comes to the way that you feel and the way that you look, your skin is everything,” she says. “It’s what your guy feels; it’s what he’s looking at; and it’s the way that your expression glows on top of the beautiful skin on your face.”

2. Consider the lighting: The daytime host warns, “God knows what kind of lighting you’re going to walk into in that coffee shop or restaurant or wherever you’re going to meet your guy! So I always focus on having a good highlighter. I love a good powder that’s a little pigmented, like either a gold or a tawny bronze, just to highlight the planes of your face so that your skin shines and has that luminescent glow.”

3. Create angel eyes: “Take a quarter-lash and just stick it on the very ends of your eye lashes so that your eyes project a beautiful, soft bedroom eye,” the beauty expert explains. “It’s super easy, and you don’t need much makeup at all to apply them.”

Exclusive Celebrity Interview: Behind-the-Scenes with The Real

When Mai isn’t out recycling or working on her fashion segments, she is one of the five hosts on the talk show The Real. “Every single day before the show, we pray that the women who are watching feel like we are their girlfriends,” she reveals in our celebrity interview. “It’s loud; it’s exciting; it’s energizing; and it’s funny.”

The other hosts are celebs Tamar Braxton, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Loni Love, and Adrienne Bailon. The Fashion Star correspondent shares, “I’m learning something new about the ladies everyday. These ladies are ladies I want to know and learn more about. I want to become more like them in different ways. It’s so cool to be a part of a group of women that are just awesome in every way.”

It’s not surprising, then, that Mai has created strong relationships with her fellow co-hosts. “I’m close to all of them for different reasons. If I want to talk about spirituality and motherhood or if I have questions, Tamar and Tamara are really helpful to me. Tamar also helps me to stand up for myself. Sometimes, I have problems voicing my opinion if I’m afraid it’s going to hurt someone’s feelings. She helps me with that — to be able to just be real and know that it comes from a good place,” she candidly says. “Lonnie helps me laugh; she makes everything brighter every day. Adrienne is that girl who teaches me to have fun and party and have a good time because she does that all the time.”

To get people more conscious and excited about recycling, Mai is promoting a giveaway hosted by Unilever. To enter the giveaway, contestants just have to take their picture and post it on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtags #reimaginethat and #sweeps. “All they have to do is take a picture of how they recycle,” she says. “It can be in their bathroom — that’s where I took mine that I put up on Instagram. It can be anywhere — by your recycling bins or by your plastic containers.”

Brooke Burke-Charvet Talks Red Nose Day in Celebrity Video Interview

Celebrated for over 25 years in the UK, Red Nose Day has been a day dedicated to raising money for underprivileged children and families. On Thursday, May 21, the event will take off for the first time in the United States and include a night full of comedy, music, and fundraising that will help 12 charity organizations lift children and young people out of poverty, both in the U.S. and throughout the world. Burke-Charvet decided to partner with Walgreens for this fundraiser because she likes that “it’s really about children and young families.” Just buying the red rubber nose for one dollar at Walgreens will have an impact: “That money is going to go and make a difference for a lot of different causes — the Boys and Girls club of America, United Way, Feeding America,” the actress says.

As the mother of four children herself, she understands that teaching her celebrity kids generosity and charity is an important lesson. The model reveals that leading by example is the best way to teach your children that hard lesson. “It’s really interesting for them to be able to see it and understand it,” she shares in our celebrity video interview. “You can teach them to be generous and to give.”

Of course, fans remember the health scare that Burke-Charvet faced after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2012. Now, she says, “Everything’s good. My health is perfect.” Her experiences and health issues have helped her recognize that “there’s somebody else somewhere who’s struggling with similar issues.”

Television Personality Talks About Her Relationship and Love Life

Although she’s a busy celebrity mom, she makes sure to prioritize her relationship and love life. “We carve out time for each other, which is super important,” she says of her marriage, “even if it’s just having lunch while the kids are at school.” When their schedules permit, the famous couple’s favorite date night is eating at a local restaurant in Malibu. “We cook so much that sometimes it’s nice to be served a meal!” she divulges.
