Michael Douglas Is Proud of Catherine-Zeta Jones for Facing Disorder

Michael Douglas opened up to Oprah Winfrey today about how his wife, Catherine Zeta Jones, attempted to hide her depression from him while he was going through stage IV throat cancer, according to HollywoodLife.  Douglas further expressed how upset Zeta-Jones was when she was “outed” with having bipolar disorder.  “Once she was outed, she knew she had to get out her story,” said Douglas.  Douglas says he is proud of his wife for addressing the media and staying positive with the issues she has faced in the past few months.  After surviving through throat cancer, Douglas is happy to support his wife who has been by his side through this whole ordeal.

What are some ways to show your support in the face of a partner’s illness?

Cupid’s Advice:

If there’s one key to having a successful relationship, it’s to be supportive of one another.  A partner’s illness is a painful experience to go through and is often a test to a relationship. Cupid has some suggestions:

1. Don’t let the stress get to you: It’s very important not to let the illness turn you negative.  It’s important to stay positive no matter what the circumstances, because having doubts won’t help your partner stay brave.

2. Have faith in each other: Believe in each other and support each other.  If you believe your partner will get through this difficult time, that faith alone may help.

3. Don’t worry about what others have to say: Don’t let what others, whether it be family, friends or doctors, say get to you and your partner. Those people aren’t in your relationship and aren’t going through the same situation.

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Wedding to Cost $34 Million

The royal wedding isn’t only the most anticipated wedding ceremony in years, but it’s also one of the most expensive!  According to RadarOnline, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding is expected to cost $34 million altogether.  Included in this expense is security ($32 million), a wedding band ($11,000) in addition to the ring passed down from Princess Diana that is now valued at $1 million, a reception for $600,000 and much much more.

What are ways to cut your wedding cost?

Cupid’s Advice:

Weddings may seem like they aren’t going to cost a lot, but once you add up all of the little things, it may shock you how expensive it will be.  Cupid has some advice on how to cut costs:

1. Shop around: Each component of a wedding has a cost.  The best way to find the lowest prices is to comparison shop.  Don’t go with the first thing you stumble upon.

2. Do-it-yourself: Little things such as a centerpiece or a favor can cost big bucks.  To keep expenses down, consider putting these types of things together yourself.

3. Cut your guest list: Most reception halls charge by the plate.  Try to keep your guest list as short as possible by only inviting your close friends and family.

What responsibilities come with being married?

Cupid’s Advice:

Dating is to basic math as marriage is to differential equations; it’s a whole new level of work.  Cupid has a few tips to remember when taking the leap of faith:

1. The beauty of monogamy: The two of you made a promise to stay faithful through good times and bad.  It takes a responsible couple to make that realization and strive to uphold it every day.

2. ‘A Whole New World’: This means more than just living together.  They say that once you’re married, everything changes; the best couples are the ones who adapt to the changes and make things work.

3. ‘We Can Work it Out’: The truth is that you and your spouse will fight a lot in your marriage.  If you’re serious about your commitment, then you’ll have to remember one word – compromise.

Perfect day, perfect weekend!” Cibrian, 38, and Rimes met in 2008 on a movie set and famously started dating while married to other people.

How do holidays change after you get married?

Cupid’s Advice:

When you’re part of a couple, holidays change completely. Cupid has some insights on what to expect:

1. Share time: After you get married, for better or worse, you’ll get to know your in-laws well. When a big holiday rolls around, you may find yourself splitting time between your mate’s family and your own.

2. Split holidays: Some couples divide up holidays so that you spend Christmas with one family and Easter with another, for example. Decide with your partner what works best.

3. Get more presents: When you have a spouse, your family doubles! Now you’ll have more people to cook and shop for … but the more the merrier, right?

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian Are Married

Love is in the air for newlyweds Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes, who exchanged their personalized vows on Friday at a private home in California, according to People.  The two exchanged their vows in front of 40 guests who thought they were attending the couple’s engagement party, but instead were surprised by witnessing the two tie the knot in an intimate wedding.  In attendance were Cibrian’s sons Mason, 7, and Jake, 4, from his previous marriage as well as a few close family members and friends.

What are the benefits to writing your own vows?

Cupid’s Advice:

Deciding whether to write your own vows for your wedding or sticking with the traditional ones can be difficult.  Cupid’s got some benefits to keeping it original:

1. They come from the heart: By writing your own vows, you can truly express how you feel about your significant other.  It helps make your special day that much more meaningful and romantic.

2. They help make the marriage yours: Other than the venue, guests, clothing and theme, a couple doesn’t have much say in the sacred process of marriage.  The same speech is given at every wedding in order to make it official, but by exchanging your own vows, you put a personal spin on the proceedings.

3. They help make the day unforgettable: Personal vows help make your wedding even more unforgettable.  When the going gets tough in your marriage, you’ll always have your vows to look back on to get you through a difficult time.

Lauren Bush Laughs About Her Potential Married Name to David Lauren

Socialite and model Lauren Bush is currently discovering a new answer to the age-old question, “What’s in a name?”  The relative of former presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush and founder of FEED Projects is engaged to be married to Ralph Lauren’s son, David Lauren.  Therefore, she will soon be Lauren Lauren if she decides to take his last name.  Bush, who began modeling in high school, met David Lauren in New York in April 2004.  According to People, Bush tentatively plans to solve this ironic dilemma by hyphenating her name. “I think it will be Lauren Bush-Lauren.  That’s not final, but I think it’s nice to have the same name as your husband.  I am sort of old-fashioned in that way,” she said.

What are some ways to avoid having an unflattering last name after marriage?

Cupid’s Pulse:

Though Lauren Lauren is more ironic than embarrassing, last names can be a very sensitive subject in a marriage, especially if they make you chuckle.  Cupid has some advice on how to avoid ending up with an unflattering last name:

1. Create a new last name: It may not be traditional, but many modern couples have decided to create a new last name by mixing both of their names together.  This ensures that your child has a part of both your last names without sounding like a law firm.

2. Keep your old name: Your name is part of your identity, and choosing not to change it doesn’t make your marriage any less meaningful.

3. Hyphenation: If you don’t mind ending up with two last names, this might be the way to go.

Do you believe that a woman should change her last name when she gets married?  Let us know below.

Reese Witherspoon Says Married Life Feels Great

Reese Witherspoon hit New York City on Sunday for the premiere of her new movie Water For Elephants.  The star was all smiles at her first red carpet appearance since tying the knot with CAA agent Jim Toth at her ranch in Ojai, California in late March.  When asked how married life is, Witherspoon replied, “It feels great!”  The actress recently got back from her honeymoon in Belize, and life is slowly getting back to normal.  Luckily, Witherspoon is able to balance her marriage and her promotional duties just fine, saying that “Everything’s just great!”  Witherspoon has also added more film premieres in order to get closer to her fans, saying, “This is an opportunity to really connect with the fans.  It’s a nice opportunity for me to connect with the people who actually go and see the movies.”

How does married life feel different than the single life?

Cupid’s Advice:

It may seem to you like you’re already married before you actually tie the knot, but there are a few key differences in the life of someone who’s married and someone who’s single.  Cupid has some thoughts:

1. You’re never lonely: Once your married, you have your best friend and partner in life.  You no longer have to fear being single or alone forever.

2. You have someone to share everything with: When you’re married, you have someone to confide in about your secrets, insecurities or even life’s excitements.  You no longer have to keep a wall up because someone is there to listen to and care about you.

3. You have someone to always have fun with: An important part of any marriage is to keep the spark alive, and the best way to do that is to simply have fun.  When you’re married you have someone to go to a concert with or with whom to plan the future.

Survey Says Americans Would Spend Up to $600 to Attend the Royal Wedding

With the highly anticipated royal wedding on the horizon, there’s a lot of buzz surrounding this high profile event.  Prince William and fiancée Kate Middleton’s glamorous wedding plans fascinate Americans – so much so, that three in five people would pay on average about $600 to get their hands on an invitation to the soiree.

With the media reporting every detail of the event, Americans are speculating about which luxury they would choose to include in their own big day.  When polled, 29 percent of women stated that they would choose to distribute personalized gifts to each of their guests.  However, 22 percent said they would like to ride in as a couple on a horse-drawn carriage, while 17 percent would wear a couture wedding gown on their special day.

Americans Say “I Do” to Cash: The royal couple is using the union of their love to do some good for mankind.  The pair has asked well wishers to donate a gift to one (or all) of their five hand-picked charitable organizations, rather than giving money or gifts to congratulate them.  However, when asked, only two percent of Americans would do the same.  More than 50 percent say they would like to receive cash as gifts, and 23 percent say they would prefer gifts purchased from a wedding registry.

While the general public will not be invited personally to take part in the couple’s nuptials, Americans can tune into NBC on April 29, 2011 at 5:30 AM EST and 2:30 PM PST.

This survey was conducted by American Express Spending & Saving Tracker and was completed online among a random sample of 2,020 consumers over the age of 18. Interviewing was conducted by Echo Research between March 24 and March 28, 2011. Roberto Martinez Says Ali Fedotowsky Is Not a Bridezilla

Bachelorette couple Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez can’t wait to tie the knot.  However, according to People, they have yet to announce their wedding date to the public.  Lucky for the groom-to-be, the former reality star is no wedding diva.  “She’s not a bridezilla, thank god,” Martinez said.  “I’d be scared to death if she was, but no, she’s awesome.”  It looks like the world of reality TV can count on one less bridezilla.

How do you know if your partner is a bridezilla?

Cupid’s Advice:

Even the nicest of your friends can turn into a bridezilla when it comes to his or her big day.  Here are the signs to look for to see if you have a bridezilla on your hands:

1. Most of the people attending the wedding are bridesmaids: A true bridezilla will start bulking up the troops ASAP.  If you’re in a wedding where there are 25+ bridesmaids, chances are you’re dealing with a bridezilla.

2.  The bride begins to speak like a drill sergeant: If the bride is starting to sound more like a general than a blushing bride, she is probably a little too wedding-obsessed.

3.  The tears at the wedding aren’t tears of joy: Many friendships have died as a result of wedding drama.  Don’t let your partner’s need for a perfect wedding day go too far.

‘Amazing Race’ Couple Christina Hsu and Azaria Azene Get Married

A father-daughter Amazing Race duo had to make a quick pit stop … at the wedding altar, reports People.  Ron Hsu, 61, and his daughter Christina, 29, were teammates on season 12 of the hit reality “game” show, and Christina met her future husband,  Azaria Azene, in the process.  “After filming we would talk on the phone as friends and now we’ve been together for over three years,” Christina said.  “I can’t explain it — the gift of true love.  I feel very lucky.  We have a lot of common goals and values and we both love traveling, exploring, and growing.  We had a great foundation.”

Where are some unlikely places to meet a potential partner?

Cupid’s Advice:

There’s an old saying that you’ll meet your lover when you least expect it.  Here are some off-the-wall places you could meet your next partner:

1. Public county love library: Most people, when looking for books at the public library, are not finding the Kama Sutra.

2. Go team!: How many of your friends go to professional sporting events looking for a date or a spouse?  Then again, a partner who has common interests in sports may lead to a solid foundation.

3. Paper or plastic?: For most guys, shopping trips are in, out and back on in life.  Finding a new lover while picking out fresh fruit could make a great love story at a wedding.

Prince William and Kate Middleton Invite Exes to Wedding

There will be six (yes, six!) former lovers in attendance for Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding. According to an article on UsMagazine.com, a source leaked the  guest list, and it was confirmed by three palace sources. Middleton invited Rupert Finch, her ex from St. Andrews University, and her high school crush Willem Marx. Prince William, on the other hand, invited Arabella Musgrave, from his university days, Rose Farquhar, his first girlfriend, Jecca Craig, who was rumored to be his first love, and Isabella Anstruther-Gough-Galthorpe.  What were they thinking?

Are there complications that arise when you invite your ex to your wedding?

Cupid’s Advice:

It can be difficult to decide whether to invite your former lovers to your wedding.  After all, you may still be friends with some of them.  Cupid’s got some things to consider:

1. ‘Graduation Goggles’: There is a possibility that you will see your ex at your wedding and remember the “good ol’ days” of when you were good as a couple.  If there’s any chance of that happening, don’t invite him or her.  You want to be focused on the person you’re marrying on your wedding day.

2. ‘I, Ross, take you, Rachael’: Although it’s unlikely that you’ll say the wrong name during your vows like Ross did on Friends, your ex may see you and realize what he or she is missing.  The last thing you need is drama at your wedding!

3. ‘Battle of the Exes’: Similar to the old Cheers episode, your future spouse may become jealous if you feel the pull to invite your ex to your wedding.  Either convince him that there are no leftover feelings and you only harbor platonic feelings toward your ex, or don’t invite him.

Michael Bublé’s Wife Wears Two Wedding Dresses

Apparently one wedding dress just wasn’t enough for Michael Bublé’s new wife, Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre. According to People, Lopilato wore one dress for their civil ceremony on Thursday and donned two separate dresses for their religious ceremony and the reception, which took place on Saturday, all in Buenos Aires.  Now that they have celebrated in Lopilato’s hometown, the two are planing to have another reception in May in Vancouver, Canada close to Bublé’s hometown of Burnaby.  We’re excited to see if Lopilato has another dress up her sleeve!

Is it OK to wear more than one dress at your wedding?

Cupid’s Advice:

We buy multiple pairs of jeans, tops, shoes and bags every year, but is it okay to buy more than one dress for one of the most memorable days of your life? Here are some things to consider when deciding whether to wear more than one dress at your wedding:

1. Cost: Weddings can get very expensive, so if you’re skimping on parts of the reception to afford that second dress, it may not be worth it.

2. Comfort: We all want to wear that Cinderella ball gown at our wedding. But, if you decide to go for the elaborate dress, you may want to consider a second more comfortable dress for the reception.

3. Personal Preference: At the end of the day, you’ve dreamed of your wedding your whole life, and if having more than one dress is an affordable goal, then go for it!

Alias Star Michael Vartan Gets Married

Michael Vartan, alias: hubby.  Star of the show Alias, Michael Vartan, and his love Lauren Skaar tied the knot at Pelican Hill Resort Saturday in front of 150 guests, according to UsMagazine.com. “She’s my best friend in the world and that’s why I asked her to marry me,” Vartin said.  “I have more fun with her than with anyone I’ve ever met. I just woke up one day and could not imagine living without her. The great thing about her and me, is that I feel like I can be 100 percent myself.”

Should your partner be your best friend?

Cupid’s Advice:

It makes the entire marriage easier if you and your spouse are best friends. Here are some things to consider when trying to determine if you and your partner can call each other BFFs:

1. A solid foundation: It’s no secret that a marriage consists of hard work and a lot of stressful days. Having a close buddy in a partner makes things a lot easier.

2. Great talks: An easy way to measure how strong your friendship is is by looking at your conversations. If you and your partner can talk about the serious things as well as the random topics easily, then things look good.

3. A relaxed environment: Similar to Vartan and his bride, if you feel 100 percent calm and your spouse isn’t running in the opposite direction, it’s probably a great sign.

Prince William Declines Wearing Wedding Ring

Prince William and Kate Middleton are bucking tradition once again, this time with the Prince’s refusal to wear a wedding band after he’s married. According to People, Middleton is going to stick to tradition and sport a ring made from a tiny bit of Welsh gold, which was presented as a gift to Prince William from Queen Elizabeth.  A spokeswoman from the palace says, “There is only going to be one ring, in accordance with the couple’s wishes.”

Should you wear a wedding ring?

Cupid’s Advice:

Traditions are nothing to scoff at, as some are there for a reason.  Others, however, hold symbolism that isn’t necessarily prevalent in this day and age. Cupid has some things to consider when deciding whether to wear a wedding band:

1. Sentimental value: If a wedding band holds a lot of meaning to you and you’d feel uncomfortable not wearing one, that’s nothing of which to be ashamed. Do what makes you comfortable in your beliefs.

2. Trust: You shouldn’t doubt your partner’s trustworthiness if you plan on marrying him or her, but there’s no doubt that wearing a wedding ring helps ward off others who are single and looking.

3. Physical comfort: Sometimes it’s simply uncomfortable to wear rings, especially for most men who aren’t used to the feeling.  If you’re in a profession where a ring would get in the way or you just don’t like the feel of a ring on your finger, consider abstaining from the tradition.

LeAnn Rimes Plans to Argue Naked for Successful Marriage

LeAnn Rimes has a theory about ensuring a successful marriage.   She tweeted, “A good friend just told me that the key to a successful marriage was to argue naked! I’m gonna do that from now on, when that rarely happens.” What guy can continue an argument in a situation like that?  Luckily, according to Rimes, everything is flowing smoothly between her and Cibrian.  She told UsMagazine.com that Cibrian has been an active participant in the wedding planning process and things have been pretty “chill.”

What are ways to keep conflict from escalating in a relationship?

Cupid’s Advice:

Getting naked is just one unconventional way to prevent conflicts from escalating in a relationship. Cupid has some other tips:

1. Communication: Discuss things that bother you before allowing them to snowball into something that can end up causing a major rift between you and your significant other.

2. Compromise: Relationships are all about working together and making the effort to show the other person you care. If certain things bother you, it’s best to try to compromise so the little things don’t turn into big conflicts.

3. Choose your battles: Sometimes it’s best that you let your partner win an argument every once in a while because there are most likely bigger things to worry about than the typical everyday issues couples face.

Will Jessica Simpson Elope with Eric Johnson?

Now that Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson are engaged, we may end up seeing them as husband and wife when we least expect it.  According to People, Simpson says that her second wedding ceremony may be a bit more low key than her previous wedding to singer Nick Lachey.  In a recent interview with Women’s Wear Daily, Simpson says, “We’ve both been married before, we’re enjoying our commitment to each other.  We want to take our time … We might elope if it gets to that point.”  So, don’t be too surprised if you see Simpson and Johnson sporting wedding rings without an elaborate ceremony.

What are the advantages of eloping?

Cupid’s Advice:

A wedding can be the best day of you and your soon-to-be spouse’s lives, but it can also be one of the most stressful. Cupid has some reasons eloping could turn out to be your best bet:

1. Money: As a brand new couple, the two of you may not have a lot of cash to spend on an elaborate ceremony.  Eloping gives you the flexibility to have a small gathering on your own budget.

2. Privacy: Sometimes when creating the guest list, you may feel as if you need to invite your Uncle Harry’s third cousin once removed. Sneaking away with your hubby gives you the opportunity to tell whomever you choose, without the added guilt.

3. Time: Many couples who have been dating a while, and even some who haven’t, don’t want long engagements.  Eloping allows you to have your wedding on your own time, whenever you and your partner choose.

Prince Harry Throws Prince William Bachelor Party in U.K.

Prince Harry threw his brother Prince William his bachelor bash this past weekend, and according to E! Online, it included water skiing, motor boat racing, and a floating pub crawl with 20 of his best friends.  A Clarence House spokesman didn’t have too much to say about the event.  “Prince William has enjoyed his stag and it was in the U.K,” said the circumspect spokesman to London’s Daily News.

What are some unique bachelor/bachelorette party ideas?

Cupid’s Advice:

1. A fancy dinner at a hot spot: Go somewhere where everyone goes to see and be seen, like a celebrity hot spot.  Drink some strong Cosmopolitans in true Sex and The City and eat some quality food.

2. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas: Think about Sin City for a wild and crazy time.  Based on the interests of your group, plan a trip full of gambling, shows and clubs.  It’s a party the groom or bride-to-be will never forget!

3. Have an outdoor adventure: Instead of the traditional club scene, plan a weekend filled with outdoor excursions, whether that means cattle wrangling or white water rafting.

Ryan Phillippe and Amanda Seyfried Vacation Near Reese Witherspon’s Wedding

Reese Witherspoon and ex-husband Ryan Phillippe could have stumbled across each other this past weekend, reports RadarOnline. Witherspoon, who was married to talent agent Jim Toth on Saturday, had her wedding at her Ojai, California home.  Phillippe and new girlfriend Amanda Seyfried were vacationing at the expensive San Ysidro Ranch near Santa Barbara, a mere 30 minutes from Witherspoon’s home.  Phillippe and Witherspoon share two children together: Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7.  The two finalized their divorce in 2007.

What are ways to tell that your ex is jealous of your new relationship?

Cupid’s Advice:

Even when all seems to be said and done in an ended relationship, it’s possible for leftover feelings to resurface. Here are a few ways to find out if your ex is jealous:

1. He wants to see you: Even if the two of you agreed to be friends after your relationship ended, there’s still a line between being friendly and clingy.  If your ex contacts you more often now that you’re in a new relationship, it may mean that he’s jealous.

2. Ask mutual friends: If you share mutual friends, ask your friends if your ex has been mentioning you more than usual lately, or if your ex seems to be moody.  A bad attitude and a need to bring you into the conversation is a sure way to tell if your ex is jealous.

3. His dating tendencies: If it seems that your ex is taking a long time to move on from your relationship, it may mean that he still has feelings for you.  While your ex just may not be the type to rush into a new relationship, his repeated avoidance of the dating scene may be cause for concern.

Reese Witherspoon Marries Jim Toth

America’s sweetheart Reese Witherspoon has officially tied the knot with her agent beau, Jim Toth, at a private ceremony at Witherspoon’s ranch in Ojai, California. The two have been engaged since December. According to People, Toth is quite the family man. The Legally Blonde actress’ children, Ava and Deacon, from her previous marriage to Ryan Phillippe, took to her new husband early in the relationship. The 20-minute ceremony was preceded by a pre-wedding cocktail hour. An insider close to the couple stated that the new bride was very giddy and excited about the future.

How can you make a wedding at home unique?

Cupid’s Advice:

A wedding at home can be both convenient and personalized.  Here are some tips to make the most out of this new trend:

1. Decorations: Just because your wedding is at home doesn’t mean that it has to look like home. Splurge on some classy decorations to spruce up your pad for the big day.

2. Use your backyard: An outdoor wedding is always fun and romantic. Why not have one in the comfort of your own home?

3. Showcase your memories: Home is where the heart is.  Having a wedding in a place that holds so many wonderful memories will be unforgettable.

Reese Witherspoon Prepares for Big Wedding Day

The big day is just days away, and you can bet Reese Witherspoon is finalizing the last touches to ensure her wedding is perfect. RadarOnline reported Monday that Witherspoon met with stylist Lorri Goddard-Clark at Prive Salon to color her hair amid the dreary Los Angeles weather.  The bride-to-be will marry Hollywood agent Jim Toth at her Ojai Valley ranch in California this Saturday.  We’re sure this is just one of many things on Witherspoon’s wedding checklist, and we wish her the best of luck!

How can you keep the pressure off right before your wedding?

Cupid’s Advice:

Cupid knows that no matter how calm and collected any woman like Reese Witherspoon is, her wedding day is one occasion where the pressure is on. Here are some tips to keep you from being (and looking) frazzled the week before your nuptials:

1. Make a list: This is no time to rely on your elephant memory.  Write down everything that needs to be done and have your maid of honor, mother or wedding planner look it over. You’ll feel extra satisfied each time you cross something off that list.

2. Delegate your tasks: You have a bridal party for a reason!  By including everyone in the planning process, you’ll get the work done faster – and keep your head from spinning.

3. Just breathe: When wedding frustrations get in your way, think of all the happy moments you’ve had with your betrothed. The party only lasts a night, but a marriage is forever.  By reminding yourself of the love you and your partner share, you’re bound to make sure everyone will see that love when you both say “I do.”

Prince William and Kate Middleton: Australian Honeymoon?

Now that the world has most of the details on the royal wedding ceremony, the next question on everyone’s mind seems to be where the Prince and his soon-to-be wife plan on spending their honeymoon.  The fact that the pair can take their pick of pretty much anywhere in the world, makes the answer to this question that much more interesting. According to People, Prince William has hinted toward an Australian honeymoon while visiting the areas of the continent that were damaged from last month’s Cyclone Yasi, saying, “I love scuba diving.  I have always wanted to dive the [Great] Barrier Reef, I will have to come back — maybe we’ll have a honeymoon in Cairns [Australia]?”

Where are the best places to go for a honeymoon?Cupid’s Advice:

Although most of us don’t have the luxury of taking our pick of anywhere in the world for our honeymoon, there are a few classic choices:

1. Hawaii: If you’re leaning more toward a tropical destination, Hawaii has been a classic honeymooner spot for years.  Between the beach, the sun and the luaus, you and your new spouse will have no problem getting a romantic getaway.

2. Italy: Some couples choose to go the more cultural route.  If this sounds like you and your beau, a honeymoon to Italy is sure to bring great meals, fine art and traditional romance.

3. Florida: If you’re budget is a little tight after the wedding, Florida is a fantastic pick for newlyweds.  With its festive atmosphere, beautiful beaches and famous amusement parks, Florida has something to offer all new couples.

‘Teen Mom’ Leah Simms Was Overwhelmed with Wedding Plans

It’s hard enough planning your wedding without kids, but add twin 15-month-olds to the mix and it can be even more stressful! Just ask Teen Mom 2 star Leah Simms. The 18-year-old mom, who was planning her upcoming nuptials with her babies’ father Corey in the show’s latest episode, was beginning to get frustrated with wedding planning and raising her kids at the same time, according to UsMagazine.com.  “I’m getting frustrated about it. I haven’t got my dress, Corey hasn’t gotten my wedding band,” Leah told her mom, Dawn. “We were talking today about postponing it, but I don’t know what we’re going to do. I’m completely stressed out about it.”

How can you avoid getting stressed by wedding planning?

Cupid’s Advice:

Your wedding will probably be the happiest day of your life, but it’s not easy getting it to run smoothly.  Cupid has some tips on how to cut back on the frustration of the planning process:

1. Think in perspective: Let’s face it.  Your wedding is just one day out of the rest of your lives together.  Of course you want everything to run smoothly and be memorable, but chances are that the fact that you’re marrying the love of your life will trump anything that goes wrong with the cake.

2. Delegate: The best thing you can do is give the people who care about you jobs to do.  Your wedding party, family and close friends will be more than willing to help in any way they can!

3. Plan in advance: Get everything done as early as possible, so that you can relax in the weeks leading up to your big day.  Make sure you aren’t stressed from planning right before you wedding.

Bradley Cooper Explains Brief Marriage to Jennifer Esposito

Hangover 2 hottie Bradley Cooper came clean last week about his four month marriage to Jennifer Esposito during a Howard Stern interview, reports UsMagazine.com. Cooper, who has been linked most recently with Renee Zellweger, tied the knot with Esposito back in Decemmber 2006 and, according to Cooper, the two decided amicably to divorce in March of 2007. Cooper told Stern, “The good thing is, we both realized it…Sometimes you just realize it.”

Why does a marriage sometimes not work out the first time?

Cupid’s Advice:

Unlike getting a license to drive or taking the SATs to get into college, getting  married does not require a well thought out plan of action:

1. You were young: If your first marriage followed a quick engagement and an even quicker courtship, you may have never gotten the chance to think things through rationally.

2. You didn’t understand: In today’s society with TV shows rushing everyone to the alter and Las Vegas offering one-stop shops for weddings, the actuality and sanctity of marriage can be easily forgotten.

3. You didn’t know yourself: Before a relationship with someone else will work, you need to be in a good relationship with yourself.

Alyssa Milano Is Expecting a Boy

Alyssa Milano can’t keep a secret. This week, the pregnant 38-year-old actress revealed to fans the sex of her baby, according to People.  “As fun as it was reading all of your gender predictions on Twitter, I’m really bad at keeping secrets and had to share (not to mention, I was bound to unintentionally slip at some point),” Milano wrote on her website. “David and I are elated to announce that we are having a baby boy.  We can’t wait to meet him. Boys names, anyone?” The Who’s The Boss and Charmed actress has been married to husband David Bugliari since August 2009.

Should you name your child after a family member?

Cupid’s Advice:

When choosing a baby name, you can go the traditional route and name your child after a family member, or you can come up with a totally new and different name. Cupid has some tips on how to know what name is right for your baby:

1. Keep it in the family: If there is someone really special to you in your family that you want to honor, name your child after a family member.  Many people use their father or mother’s names or reuse an old family name and make it new.

2. Use the middle name: Just because you don’t choose a family name for your child’s first name doesn’t mean you can’t still respect tradition.  If you want, use a relative’s name for your child’s middle name.

3. Try something new: If you want to totally depart from traditional family names, go for it.  Name your child after a song, an actor, a writer… or just pick a name you heard and liked.
