How do you know your partner is “the one”?

Cupid’s Advice:

Knowing your partner is “the one” can be a tough thing to figure out. Cupid has some advice:

1. Inseparability: Being in a relationship with another person is not always the easiest aspect of life.  The key to this is consistently longing to be together.  It is not only wanting to be together 24/7 however, it is physically being with one another.  This prolonged time together should feel relaxing, timeless, and simply just right.  You know they’re the one when you wake up and immediately and want to see them, talk to them, kiss them, spend endless hours in bed and learn every minuscule thing about their life.

2. Lust: Every relationship typically begins with a sort of sexual attraction.  If a relationship forms from this and once it is developed, lust should be prominent.  You two should have the feeling of wanting to rip off your partner’s clothes in the most obscure places, wanting to melt away completely with one another in bed.  Lust looms into love, and we all know love makes everything in life more enjoyable.

3. Safety net: You need to feel like your partner will always be there for you, no matter the situation.  It is inevitable that you will need a ride to the hospital, or a shoulder to cry on, or someone to make you feel special; this should be that person.  You should not second guess if your significant other would ignore your tears, or make you feel uncomfortable.  If your partner is “the one,” the safest place in the world is directly in their arms.
