The two final couples have been announced for the Generation Tux “First Couple of 2016” contest! Couples entered the contest, which began on November 1st and ends on December 31st, by creating a 60-second video describing why they deserve to have the most iconic, celebrity wedding of the year. The winners will be announced in Times Square right before the ball drops at midnight on New Year’s Eve, and the lucky pair will get hitched on the spot with America as their wedding guests and George Zimmer, CEO of Generation Tux, as their officiant.

Who Will Win the Celebrity Wedding of Their Dreams?

The first couple is Alexander and Michael, who have been together for 10 years and got engaged at this year’s 2015 Atlanta Pride event. They’re excited to take the next step in their relationship and love now that marriage is legal for all.

The second couple, Monica and Alfred, have an equally romantic love story. The Miami-based pair met at a party years ago but were both in relationships at the time. They reconnected when they were single and have been inseparable ever since. Alfred proposed to Monica with the help of their CenterStage cheer squad, and of course, the bride-to-be said yes.

In addition to a celebrity wedding on New Year’s Eve, the winners will also receive a seven-night premium honeymoon at Palace Golf and Spa Resort in Cancun, Mexico. The runner-ups won’t walk away empty-handed: They’ll win a three-night stay at the same resort. Additionally, each voter will also be entered to win a three-night stay at the resort. Voting is now open through December 31st at 8:30 p.m. EST.
